The Mystery of the One Who is with Jesus (Mt. 14:22-33)
Let us bless one another, “Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.” May you receive the blessing of those works being fulfilled within your life. The title of today’s message is, “The Mystery of the One who is With Jesus.” A “mystery” means that not everybody knows about it. There are people who are specifically permitted by Jesus to know this mystery. This is not a mystery that people know just because they go to church.
1. People after the miracles
1) Followed Jesus
(1) Intended to make Him king (Jn. 6:15)
(2) Because they ate the loaves and had their fill (Jn. 6:26)
In today’s Bible scripture, we see that after Jesus Christ did the miracle of the five loaves and two fish, many people began to follow Jesus. The reason they are following Jesus Christ is because they have eaten their fill and think, “If we follow Jesus, then we will never be hungry again.”
(3) For food that spoils (Jn. 6:27)
Jesus Christ does not relay His mystery to people like that. In fact, in John 6:27, He says, “Do not work for food that spoils.”
2) Jesus’ reaction
(1) He dismissed the crowd (Mt. 14:22)
(2) Made the disciples get into the boat and go to the other side (Mt. 14:22)
What He does is He quickly dismisses these people. He quickly makes about 10,000 people return back home. Then, He tells His disciples to get on a boat and to cross ahead of Him to the region where He will go. When you look at this, where is the Lord’s focus? Jesus was not interested in the many people who see the works of Jesus and think, “If I follow Jesus, I’ll be set for life.” Instead, He works through the people who see Jesus and say, “Wow, this is truly the Christ, He is God.” It is possible that there are times we believe in Jesus Christ for our physical needs, but if that becomes the reason why you believe in Jesus, you will not be able to hear His Word, because Jesus turns those people away, He does not give them His Word. Even if we do receive the physical miracles or answers, God only continues to focus and work through the people who confess, through these signs, that He is the Christ, He is God.
(3) Went up on a mountainside to pray (Mt. 14:23)
Then, Jesus went up to a mountain and prayed. Why is it that Jesus needs to pray even though He is God? Jesus is the Creator God and He is powerful even now; why is it that He had to pray? Jesus Christ had a 100% physical body like us, and He is also 100% God, so even though He is God, He is also completely human. Because He had to save us, He came to this earth in a physical body exactly like ours, that had the same suffering and the same feelings. So, He Himself, if He doesn’t pray to the Father God, He is bound to be dragged off by the desires and greed of His flesh. The reason why He prayed was also to teach His disciples. As we’re doing the ministry of the work of God, we cannot do it without prayer, and when we pray, we get to receive answers. Especially when we pray within the things Jesus Christ has told us, then we receive answers.
3) Disciples
(1) Encountered hardship because of the waves (Mt. 14:24)
As the disciples are going across the lake on the boat, the winds are blowing against them. The Bible says they were buffeted and were suffering because of these waves. Why is it that they were going in the direction that Jesus Christ told them to go, but they are buffeted by these waves? Isn’t our walk of faith supposed to not have suffering?
These disciples lived on the Sea of Galilee for many generations as professional fishermen. The Sea of Galilee is not a small lake like we’re thinking, you can just think of it as one of the Great Lakes, like Michigan. It’s a lake, but it’s like a sea. It’s not like a small lake like we usually think, it’s a sea. For decades, these people were experts of the sea as fishermen. It doesn’t matter how much of an expert you are, if you face this obstacle you cannot overcome, you’re bound to suffer as well.
Jesus Christ tells them to go, and then He brings these winds. For us, sometimes we will face these mental winds. This mental storm might be a depression that I don’t want, or we might face a storm within our business that we don’t want. If you believe in Jesus Christ, does that mean your life will be devoid of storms? Without a doubt, you will face these winds. The Sea of Galilee is not always quiet and calm. Even after Jesus Christ tells you to go, you might face these winds.
As you live your walk of faith, when you follow the Words of Jesus, you might still face hardships. There might even be people who are facing suffering within their family. Without a doubt, these things will happen to us in different forms. When we believe in Jesus Christ, we don’t pray for these things to go away; we pray so that it doesn’t matter even if these things come.
(2) Jesus who walked on water to them (Mt. 14:25)
Then it says that, “During the fourth watch of the night,” and the watches are in three-hour increments from 6 pm to 6 am, so this means, between 3 am to 6 am, Jesus Christ comes to them, walking on the lake. While the disciples were suffering, Jesus Christ is coming to answer them, it’s not that the Lord doesn’t know; the Lord actually created this, God is the One Who split the Red Sea. God is the One Who gave us the pandemic. God is the One Who allowed the World Wars. We wish these things didn’t happen, but without a doubt, they are bound to happen, and our walk of faith is following God’s plan within those things.
(3) Thought it was a ghost and was afraid (Mt. 14:26)
The Lord is walking over towards the disciples after them, but their reaction is to call Him a ghost. The Lord is currently answering them, but they are saying nonsense, and then it says, “They cried out in fear.” The Lord is coming to answer us, but instead of just saying, “Oh, the Lord is coming to answer us,” they were filled with fear. The problem is not the real problem; the problem is the fear inside of us. Then how can that fear go away? We have to acknowledge the Lord. The One Who has allowed this problem is the Lord. Is there something so unfair? God is the One Who allowed that unfair thing.
2. Jesus Christ
1) Came in the midst of hardship
(1) Take courage (Mt. 14:27)
As you live your professional life or your social life, there’s always one person who is like an enemy to you, and we wish this person would just go away, but the Lord has placed them in your life because you definitely need them. God has placed them in our lives as a tool for us to acknowledge and to trust God more.
Fear–it says in Gen. 3–is the first thing that entered in when we were separated from God. In a war, the real problem is our fear. In the history of Korea, the greatest naval battle that ever happened was under General Yi Sun-sin when he was fighting against the Japanese. In that battle, there were hundreds of Japanese ships and only twelve Korean ships, and the General said, “The real problem is not the number of enemy ships, but it is the fear within our own hearts.”
(2) It is I. Don’t be afraid (Mt. 14:27)
Why do we have fear? We have no choice but to be afraid if we’re not able to see the reality of God. Even in the midst of the pandemic, if we’re not able to acknowledge that the Lord is here, then we’re bound to be afraid. When we’re afraid, the Lord immediately says to them, “Take courage.” When we’re in the midst of fear, the Lord immediately says, “It is I, Do not be afraid.” Who is the “I”? It is the same “I” when God said, “I AM who I AM.” There are some men who say, “I am who I am,” but I am telling you this: they are very weak inside. They are so weak and afraid inside that they say these very strong words. A strong person does not need to say strong words to be strong. A very wealthy person doesn’t need to say that they are wealthy in order for them to be wealthy. Only the people who don’t have a lot of money have to show other people that they do, so they say, “I have money,” to show others, but Jesus doesn’t need many words; He just says, “I am Me.”
When Moses asked God, “Whom shall I tell Pharaoh has sent me?”, the Lord said, “I AM who I AM.” There’s no other way to explain God. He is not someone who was created by anybody else, He has existed from eternity in the past all the way until the eternity ahead; He is the I AM, therefore, do not be afraid.
(3) Peter’s doubt (Mt. 14:28)
Even after Peter hears these words, he doubts. Peter says, “Lord, if it is you,” meaning he doesn’t believe it is really the Lord; he is putting on this conditional “if.” That’s what we do as well, even though God gives us His Word, we doubt it and question it, and we say, “If this is true, then give us the evidence.” The evidence that Peter asked for is, “If it is you, tell me to come to you on this water.” Without a doubt, we have received God’s Word, but we don’t fully believe it, so we say, “If this is truly God’s Word, then give us this evidence.”
2) Jesus’ Word
(1) Tell me to come to you (Mt. 14:29)
Then the Lord says, “Come.” When the Lord gives us His Word, the Lord fulfills His Word, so the Word of God is extremely important, and God is the One Who fulfills the Word that He Himself has given. A walk of faith without God’s promise is nothing. When we pray, we cry out and shout to get whatever we want, but that’s just a religious act to get whatever you’re petitioning for. We can do all things within the Word God has promised to us, but our faith must be within that.
(2) When he saw the wind, he was afraid (Mt. 14:30)
After Pete heard these words, he began to walk on the water. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and began to sink. We need to follow and only look upon God’s Word, but instead, we become afraid when we look at the present reality. In the Old Testament, when the Israelites were going into the war of conquering, attacking the fortress of Jericho, they only needed to follow and look at the Ark of the Covenant, but instead of looking at the Ark of the Covenant, if they look at their environment, they will lose their faith. In the midst of your problems, I hope you will look upon God’s Word, then the problem will no longer be a problem; the crisis will no longer be a crisis; the situation will no longer be a situation, because the “I AM” Who says He is the I AM will fulfill the Word He has given us. The Lord Who says, “I AM the I AM,” is not moved by our problems, crises, or situations, He will fulfill His Word. But the only issue is, we don’t really have faith in that, so we look at our environment and fall into our problem in fear.
There are situations where you will flounder and fall into the problems and crises in your field. It’s not that you didn’t hear God’s Word, and it’s not as if you don’t have any faith at all. You have faith, but when you look at the situation, you lose hold of God’s Word. Because you look at the situation based on your experience, you think, “This is what is going to happen,” and you make the wrong decision.
It is impossible for us to escape from ourselves. The world you have seen is only what you’ve experienced. You’re only able to see the world from the things you’ve read in books, things you’ve seen on the news, and it doesn’t matter how high this person tries to fly; they will never be able to escape what they know or experience. With that experience, they look at today, and because of that, they have no choice but to sink in the water.
God is the One Who can transcend all things. In Gen. 1:3, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. He is the One Who has the power over creation. Heb. 4:12 says the Word of God is living and active, it penetrates even to divide joints and marrow, soul and spirit, and heals all things. If you just say the word “God,” is that really God? There are some people who think that way. They just think that saying the word, “God,” is God. The Word that that God has spoken, that Word is God. If they don’t have the Word God has given to them at all, but they just say the words, “G-O-D,” is that God? That is someone who does not know God, and that god does not know me.
The Word that He gives to me, that is God. She’s interpreting and we know her face, so we say we know her, but we only see what she looks like, we don’t know the words she says. We don’t know the ways she’s matured, then you don’t know her; you only know her appearance. You only know the outer appearance of God, you don’t know the situation. Jesus Christ is the True God, He is the One Who proclaims and fulfills the Word of the Father God, and knowing the content of those words is knowing God.
(3) You of little faith, why did you doubt? (Mt. 14:31)
Immediately, Jesus Christ reaches out His hand, catches Peter, and says, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” Even when we are afraid, God finds us. Inside of the Word of the Lord He has given to us, He takes full responsibility, and when the Lord says, “Go here,” God takes care of everything else in the process.
3) Jesus
(1) They climbed into the boat (Mt. 14:32)
Then, when they climbed onto the boat with the Lord, the wind died down. Jesus is the One Who quiets the wind. The Lord is the One Who gets rid of the problems, and the Lord is the One Who allows the problems. There are some people who are burning up in their own righteousness, saying, “Why is the world like this?” In the history of the life they’ve lived, they can’t understand how the world can be like this. I hope you will believe that the Lord has allowed it. Then does that mean the Lord has allowed this evil wickedness? Yes, He even does allow that. God even allows the work of Satan.
Satan goes to God and asks for His permission to test Job, and the Lord allows it. Someone with good faith lost all of his children, lost all of his possessions, and even lost his health, but the Lord allowed that. Why did the Lord allow that? Finding that is the walk of faith. Inside of your situation and environment, why did the Lord allow this? Without a doubt, the Lord is my Master and He is answering me and He is with me now.
(2) Winds died down (Mt. 14:32)
(3) Worshiped Jesus (Mt. 14:33)
When they climbed into the boat, the winds died down, then those who were in the boat worshiped him. Because they saw Jesus was with them, they worshiped together. In other words, when we worship, the storm dies down. When we worship, the Lord is with us. When you are worshiping right now, the storm in the field is dying down. When you worship in the field, the storm is dying down. The worship you’re giving right now is a formal worship, but the worship you give in the field, that is the field worship, and even there, the Lord must be your Lord for the winds to die down.
God is the One Who controls your business. God is the One in 1 Chronicles 29:10-14 Who brings up your business and brings it down. God is the One Who brings people up and makes them small. God is the One who gives you money and takes it away. It doesn’t matter what you say, you’re only speaking from your own experiences; it’s irrelevant. Even during the pandemic, there were businesses that made even more sales, and the places that weren’t doing well continued to do poorly. They were not able to do well because there was a reason for their failure and they were able to succeed because there was a reason as well.
For the children of God, it doesn’t matter what kind of situation we’re in, the Lord knows and He comes and finds us. When we move within the Word that the Lord has commanded of us, then the Lord will completely fulfill that Word. So, I hope you will give worship in your field. When I say, “Give worship in your field,” it doesn’t mean you have to open your Bible and sing praise. It is a living worship, it is a worship that sacrifices yourself. Jesus Christ said, “If you want to follow Me, you must first reject yourself.” If you are still alive, that is not true worship. “When the Lord died for me, then I died on the cross with Him.” If my personal thoughts are still alive and active, that is not worship. If somebody says, “The Lord died for me and it doesn’t matter for me anymore,” then that person does not know ownership.
True worship in your field is when the living Lord takes control of your business; in other words, people who are able to pray. Being able to pray and worshiping means you’re elevating the Lord to the place where He can take control, then the Lord will receive your worship there, then the storm will die down.
This is the message that Jesus gave to His disciples with this situation. Do you think Peter was always like this? He wasn’t always like this, he rejected Jesus again when He took the cross. He had a weakness inside of him that left him no choice but to reject Jesus. The Lord knew this, so after He resurrected, He went and called Peter again. After a certain point, Peter no longer shook. If that faith of Peter that did not shake, becomes my faith, then we will receive the same answers. What is that?
3. Jesus Christ who is eternally with me
1) Cross
(1) It is finished (Jn. 19:30)
We must experience that Jesus Christ has finished all of my problems on the cross, that He is resurrected and is with me now. On the cross, Jesus Christ finished the problems of the curses that come as a result of my sin. He has brought me out of the fate and destiny that Satan has seized me and is dragging me towards. Now, the Lord is with us by the Holy Spirit. That is why, in John 19:30, Jesus said, “Everything is finished,” then the problems you face are not problems. The real problem is not having the Lord. The real problem is not believing in the Lord. That person is not the problem, the real problem is that you don’t know God’s plan regarding that person. Your child is not the problem. The real problem is that the parents don’t know the plan with which God is holding onto your children.
Why would America be a problem? The real problem is me, not knowing God’s plan for America. Why was I born in America? That is not something for you to complain about or for you to be happy about, you need to discover God’s plan, why He has allowed this. God is the One Who created me and allowed me to be born on this earth. God is the One Who is allowing me to live here at this moment. Why did He allow that? When you begin to know this, you will see His answers.
(2) Jesus lives within me – Authority of heaven, earth (Gal. 2:20, Mt. 28:18)
Gal. 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ.” My thoughts are not correct. If your thoughts are not from the Word of God, they are from the earth, they are from your experiences, they are from sin that does not have God. But there are people who think that they are the only ones who are correct and everyone else is wrong. If you listen to what they are saying, only they are correct. “Everybody else is wrong, they should all die, even the president and the people of America, only I am correct.” When these people go to church, they think, “The pastor, we need to get rid of him, he is not the one.” The person thinks they are the only one who is right, and the Lord is saying, “You’re actually the one who is wrong,” but that person will not know that they are wrong until the Holy Spirit works upon them.
Who is truly right? Only the Lord is truly right, only His Word is always true. That is why He says, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Our thoughts we think are correct are not correct; only the Word of God is correct, and when you restore that, your depression will go away. When you restore this, your mental suffering will go away. Before that point, it doesn’t matter what you try to do; it is not from the Lord.
The Lord says, “I am with you forever, with all authority over heaven and earth.” There is no way to block the authority in heaven and on earth. Even the storms that are coming your way cannot block the plan of God. The weakness inside of me cannot block the plan of the Lord. He is with me forever, eternally. Then, is the storm a real problem? Peter knew this, so even though in Acts 4:12, he was brought into the court, and if he testified of Jesus Christ, he would be sentenced to death, he boldly declared, “There is no other name given to man by which we must be saved.”
(3) Life of living within faith – All creation under Jesus’ control (Gal. 2:20, Phil. 3:21)
How is it that someone who was so afraid in the storm that he began to sink in the water, is able to declare this so boldly in court? He began a life living in faith. There are some people who say, “Is faith all you need? I’ve tried faith and it doesn’t work. In the name of Jesus Christ, I prayed for this sea to be split, and it didn’t split. There’s somebody I hate at my job and I prayed for Jesus to take him away, and he didn’t go away.” That person is just praying, holding onto whatever they want.
When you pray in the name of Jesus Christ, within the Word God has promised, then the Lord will fulfill that work. It doesn’t matter how much you pray to Jesus to take this person away, He will never do that because He told us to love each other. Jesus told you to love your enemies; He never told you to pray for your enemies to go away, that’s why you’re not receiving answers to prayer. Then how can you receive an answer to prayer? “I hate this person and they are like my enemy; please change them.” That is how you receive an answer. Your business will never receive the answer, why would He do that? If you don’t have the promise of God, why would He give you an answer? But instead of evangelizing, this person keeps going around saying, “I tried praying in the name of Jesus Christ, and I’m not receiving answers,” but if God’s Word is inside your business, God will begin to fulfill it. That faith, the faith that has been promised to you.
There is a reason why you and I are gathered here at 10:30 am. Last week, before the week of the outdoor service, someone went to the park, and there was nobody there because that wasn’t the promised time. It doesn’t matter how much you pray by yourself. “Why am I not receiving answers? Lord, don’t you have this power?” It is because you don’t have His promise. On the other hand, if you are praying holding onto God’s promise, it doesn’t matter how weak you are, but He will find you and work upon you. Without a doubt, God gives us His Word as His promise. When we have faith in that Word, then the Lord fulfills it.
2) Life within Christ
(1) Through the Word of Christ (Phil. 3:8)
Then, we need to live our lives, so what is the life that is lived within Christ? In Phil. 3:8, Paul confesses that all the greatness of knowledge is hidden within Christ, and the knowledge of knowing Jesus Christ is a surpassing greatness, to the point where I consider everything else rubbish. Christ Jesus, we cannot see Him with our eyes; we’ve never even seen Him. We need to have some kind of reality, but we don’t. This is talking about being within Christ’s Word. Everything is hidden within Christ’s Word, so inside of His Word are all the treasures hidden. Not the words of God’s law, that’s the reason the Jewish people failed, but within the words of Christ. The law can only judge people and drag people towards curses and disasters, but the words of Christ are the words that save us.
I hope you will always stand on the side of saving. If you do not stand on that side of criticizing, judging, and killing people, and instead, stand on the side of saving people, then the Lord will work. It doesn’t matter how intelligent and bright the students are, if that is not used to save people, then it is nothing, it is useless. In today’s scripture, when the crowds followed Jesus Christ because they saw the material food of the five loaves and two fish, the Lord avoided those crowds. It doesn’t matter how weak or lacking I am; if I want to give my entire life to save people through the words of Jesus Christ, that is where God will work.
(2) Life of living with Christ’s power (Phil. 4:13)
Our power comes from Phil. 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength.” Inside the Word God has promised to do, I can do all things. We don’t do it with our own experiences, we do not live our lives looking at what people think or the things we’ve read in books. We do not live our lives by looking at the news and thinking about how I need to live. Our life is not of this earth; we are living on this earth with the things of heaven. We are not living by listening to the words of people, but we hold onto the Words of God, we live by the power of heaven. Then you can challenge. “I know I cannot do this, but if it is God’s Word, then I challenge towards it, because the One Who has promised this to us is Power Himself, so we can do all things within Him.” There are some people who hear these words and think they can do whatever they want for their own greed, but God does not fulfill our greed.
There was one time when there was a doctor giving a message to the youth, and I thought, “We really have to take this person away from the speaker, because He interpreted the words as, “God will give you whatever you want. If you just think positively and manifest it in your thoughts, God will give it to you.’” That’s the reason the American churches are failing. For us, it is not about positive or negative thinking; we are people who are following after God’s Word. If God says, ‘This is not it,” it doesn’t matter how positively you think, it’s not gonna work. And if God says, “This is my Word,” then it doesn’t matter how negative or critical someone is of it, only that person will die, but God’s Word is absolutely fulfilled. Especially for people who have read a lot of books, they try to judge or criticize other people to show how sharp they are. I hope you will go beyond the level of this world. The Lord does not stop because of your sharp criticisms. The Lord fulfills the Word He has given.
I’m talking about myself right now, I was like that. If somebody is very sharp, it seems like they have something, they think that they’re the only one who can see something that no one else can see. Everyone else can see it, they’re just not saying it. They just say, “The president is like this or like that,” but they’re just speaking from their own perspective. The cadets in the military will always criticize the general or officer, but once you get into that situation, you’ll realize that things are different. If somebody is trying to quickly retire but they look at their commanding officer, there are a lot of things for them to complain about. There’s a completely different viewpoint between somebody who is joining the military just so they can become an American citizen versus somebody who worked their whole life to become a general.
I’m saying, the way we see things and the way God sees things is different, and if you want to see from God’s perspective, you need to see from the basis of God’s Word. I hope you will always ask, whenever you start something, don’t just start it, but ask God, “Is this right for God?” I hope you will stop killing that person with your words, but ask God. If God says, “Yes, this is right,” then do it. But the Bible says to love your enemies, and the Bible never tells you to kill others. It tells you to save anybody and everybody, and the business that works on that is the business on which God works. The studies that are used to save everybody are the studies that God works upon.
(3) Plan of Christ taking hold of me (Phil. 3:13)
Phil. 3:13 tells us what the plan of our lives is; we don’t have our own plans, but Paul says, “I race towards that for which Christ has taken hold of me.” People set their own plans, but it never works out that way. We don’t have our own plans. There’s a famous celebrity in Korea who had plans the next day, but they passed away in the morning. Even the day before, somebody was eating with them and made a plan for the next day, but before that day came, the person passed away. It’s not according to our plans; it’s according to God’s plan. It’s better for you to not have plans. The perfect plan is to completely follow God’s plan and the Word that He gives you.
Having no plan is a plan because God is perfect. There are some legalistic people who say, “Those words have no strategy or basis, how can you live without a plan?” Do you really think I have no plan? Things don’t work according to our plans. Why would a 3-year-old make their own plans for their life? They just have to follow their parents. If a 3-year-old is researching how they need to live their life, that’s foolish. I hope you will believe that God has called us with a complete and perfect plan in mind.
3) Witness of Christ
(1) Only the Holy Spirit – Come upon (Ac. 1:8)
Now the way we must live is as a witness of Christ, that’s why He said, “Only when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,” that means He will surely give it to you. The Holy Spirit must be within us, it cannot be by your mental strength; it must be by the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit, Who is the Spirit of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of the Father God, comes into your emotions, only then will your depression be overcome. One day, your scars will be gone. All of your stubborn frames that live with your experiences will be broken down.
(2) Authority (Ac. 1:8)
Only when the Holy Spirit is upon your and upon your field, then you will receive not the strength of the earth, but the power of heaven, and you will be a witness of Jesus until the ends of the earth. That’s His promise.
(3) Witness to the ends of the earth (Ac. 1:8)
hope you will hold onto that promise and challenge towards it, then that power will be upon you. Everywhere you go, until the ends of the earth, you will stand before people with the evidence of Jesus Christ.
Conclusion
1. Silent time – Strength, peace
Everybody is so busy nowadays, but the person who can have their alone, quiet time, is the powerful one. If somebody is busy but they live busily, then they have no strength. The busier you are, you cannot get sucked into that business, but you must be able to enjoy your alone, quiet time of prayer in order to receive peace and strength. That power comes from being with the Lord. That person, even if they are within a storm, it doesn’t matter to them. When this person is in their life, they are praying with the Lord.
2. Mystery of prayer within life
3. Life of saving and changing the field
Prayer is allowing the Lord to be the Lord of your field, then the Lord will take full control of your life in your field. Then, I hope you will stop complaining and grumbling about your field, but change the stream of your field. If you complain about the way things are in the world, that’s evidence that you have no strength. I hope that you will change the world instead. “Why is my family like this?” They have always been like that. I hope you will change it instead. “Why is my company like this?” they’ve always been like this, and I hope you will change it instead. That’s the reason why God has sent you there. That’s the reason why God has sent you to America. That’s the reason why God sent you here. Only when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, it’s been promised to you, so I hope you will seek it. May you have victory throughout the week.
Message Prayer
Let us pray together holding onto the Word we have received.
Offering Prayer and Newcomer Prayer
God, we thank You. We believe that any problem or situation we face within Your Word is not a problem. We have returned Your materials as offering. We pray that everywhere this offering is used, the works of re-creation will take place, and we pray that You will bless the hands that have given this offering with the economy of light, and we pray that You will bless our finances to be the finances that save the entire world. We believe that this is the offering of faith will be the time for all of the curses of poverty to be broken down. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ to cast out all the curses and disasters of poverty and powerlessness upon our businesses and studies. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.
God, we thank You. We pray that upon all the newcomers or new believers we’ve welcomed today, that the Word of God will be fulfilled exactly in their lives, and we pray You will work with grace upon their lives so they can always stand on the side of grace that saves people. We pray that You will especially bless the remnants and we pray that You will especially bless their future. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.
