Host (Romans 16:23)

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God

Host (Romans 16:23)

This week, we had the world church officer’s conference. Young adults are the church officers of the future as well as the present.  What do you think the concept is that the young adults must have?  I hope you will hold onto the concept that you are the host of the evangelist

Host (Romans 16:23)

You can’t be a host like Gaius just by having money.  Money moves based on the state of your heart.  First, you must have the tears of the evangelist.  Everyone can say they have the gospel, and everyone can know the gospel by hearing it once, but what’s important is to see with the eyes of the gospel.   When Jesus Christ went into the field, he was sad, because Jesus Christ Himself is the gospel, so he was able to see something when he looked at the field through his eyes.

Tears of the Evangelist

Being gospelized means you can see with the gospel eyes.

Introduction – Problem

In the past, we are caught in our problems, simply put, you’re separated from God and stuck in self-centeredness.

Self-Centered, Material-Centered, Success-Centered

This is what we call sin, so you have no choice but to be stuck in material-centeredness.  Because if you’re separated from God, it means you’re centered on the things you see with your eyes.

It means that you are turning way to be centered on success, exalting your own name and strength.  This is the trap that Satan has dug.  Being caught in the fundamental problems, you’re stuck in these three things.  No matter how much you listen to God’s Word, you listen to your own thoughts.  When you encounter a problem, you think about how you can solve it.  Then you think about whether something is an advantage or disadvantage to you personally, and you’re deceived by Satan, falling into self-centeredness.

Religion

One day, you choose a religion.  But if you are still within these traps, frames, and snares, you’re covering them up; you can’t escape. You choose a religion to gain these three things (self, material, and success-centeredness).  The Bible says to not serve idols nor yourselves.

Meditation

You fall into meditation, wondering if you’re centered or emptied, it all goes back to yourself. The current problem of America is that people promise healing through transcendental meditation, and people think that if they have religion, they can solve their problems.

Or, if they hold onto something within themselves, they think they can survive, but it means they have geen covered by this frame. Ultimately, they’re entirely enslaved by Satan.  That’s why they have no choice but to have spiritual problems.  There is no choice but for them to have mental problems.  It doesn’t come up all of a sudden, but it starts from these three centers.

Then you have the problems of your life, the physical problems, and the problems of the afterlife and the next generation.

Christ

You can only be liberated from these 12 problems by only Christ, so that is why you must look at the field and yourself through only Christ. Without Christ, you cannot see things correctly.  Jesus Christ says, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” He is the Truth, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You have to look at everything through Christ. You don’t look at yourself through your self-centeredness, but look at yourself through Christ, so you can see yourself liberated from the 12 problems.  If you don’t see yourself through the eyes of Christ, you will become self-centered when you face a problem, meaning you fall into that problem. But if you look at the problem through the eyes of Christ, you can see the answer.

Even though you have the gospel, what’s even more important is seeing through the eyes of the gospel and to see others through the eyes of the gospel.  If you don’t look at yourself through the eyes of Christ, you see people incorrectly, not the truth. If you are seeing incorrectly, your life and judgments will be incorrect. All the words you say may be correct, but they are wrong, and you’ll live an incorrect life. Ultimately, you live a life that belongs to the devil, a liar.

What doesn’t take place?  This takes place if you don’t have the eyes of the gospel.  When we have a problem, we must look at it through the eyes of Christ. Through your own eyes, you’ll see your problems and be seized by Satan.  You must see yourself as a child of God; look at yourself through Christ.  “I am a child of God who has been liberated from the 12 life problems.  Begin this way.

You young adults are the host of the evangelist, the host of the church, and the beginning point of that is seeing yourself through the eyes of Christ; otherwise, you’ll fall into a religious life again. You’ll fall into religiosity being centered in yourself.  There is no freedom in religion; you bear your own burdens, and the longer it goes on, the heavier it becomes, but the gospel is truth and freedom.  Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened.  You have to look at everything through Christ, then what will happen if you see people through the eyes of Christ?

Without seeing them in Christ, you’ll be in disputes, and that’s the work of Satan.  Division, conflicts, disputes, arguments.  By seeing with the eyes of Christ, you’ll see that everyone is floundering.  You think people are suffering because of the coronavirus pandemic, what are these eyes?  What is God doing?  This is what you see when Christ is the center. The young adult must have these eyes; this is called gospelization, and you have to go into the stream of gospelization.

There is a stream of gospelization, it begins with me and continues to move.  The ones who have the eyes of Christ can relate to the tears of the evangelist.  The tears are not an emotional thing. When you look at the field through the eyes of Christ, you see everyone is floundering in the 12 life problems.  Even when they go to church, they live a religious life.  To people like this, God fulfills His Word, meaning He gives you His Word because you see with the eyes of Truth.

What happens if you see with the eyes of legalism? You will receive the word incorrectly.  The Jewish people used the law, and it is the Word, but they were centered on people.  The gospel says that people have no hope; so we’re centered on Christ. If you’re legalistic, you have no choice but to bear heavy burdens. God will give you His Word that will be fulfilled.

Introduction – Word Fulfillment

When you look correctly with the eyes of the gospel and see the field, the Word will come upon you. You must be in this stream.  When you go to your job, you go to the field with the eyes of the gospel so the Word of God comes upon you.  Because the work that the Triune God is doing even now begins with the Word, and the Holy Spirit reminds you of the Word. We’ve already received Christ.

  1. Gospel X – Meek Gospel

We are in an age where the gospel has been lost. We are going into a repetitive cycle where they get caught in disputes because people are centered on other’s behavior.  Being centered on Christ, you see with the eyes of the gospel and are free.  What is legalism? It’s about whether you can obey the Word of God or not.  So you see the physical behaviors, and individuals are suffering.

There is also prosperity gospel, and they look at everything based on that.  Mysticism, experiencing the spiritual word through a physical manifestation. “You have to experience God in your body,” and because people live this religious life, the gospel is disappearing.  Because the churches should be spreading the gospel, the field has no choice but to be riddled with disasters.  Who is the Young Adult that God desires? One who knows the gospel and sees with the eyes of the gospel, the eyes of God.

  • The Future Church that God Desires

This is so important, what is the church that God desires? You must be the host of the future church that God desires, the one who saves the world that God desires.

  • Few People – World evangelization

It means that just these few people remained within the stream of world evangelization.

Main – Future Church

What is the future church within the stream of gospelization, and how can we remain within this same stream?

  1. Young Adult that Can Change the System.  We need to have the church officers and young adults who can change the system.  You cannot save people with the religious system of the Jews.  With the eyes of legalism, you’ll kill people instead of saving them.  Looking at scarred people with eyes other than the gospel, you’ll not be able to save them.  Scarred people always think they’ve done something wrong, they’re so self-centered.  It’s all about “me”-centeredness.  Only the gospel can liberate us from that.
  1. Christ’s Teaching. For the church officers who can change the system, Jesus gives them a teaching. How can we change the system?
  • Beatitudes.  There are the eight blessings, the Beatitudes, that Jesus teaches.  What is a true blessing?  Everyone is trapped in their physical-centeredness and living for those things, but what is a true blessing?  The Jews were stuck in physical-centeredness saying that money was everything, so they cannot change the world.  What is a true blessing?  Blessed is the one who is poor in heart. That’s not material-centeredness, but it is being centered on the gospel.  If these people have no gospel but they have material possessions while being colonized under Rome, that is no blessing. You have to teach them this, and what they must do first. Don’t first pray about the things you must eat, wear, and drink, and don’t look at the speck in someone else’s eyes, look at the plank in your own eye. This completely changed the system. Without this, by leaving things the way they are, there is no hope for the future churches.  This is the first sermon given by Jesus Christ.
  • Matthew 9:27 – Field. Jesus showed them the people who were dying in the field and healed them with miracles.
  • Matthew 13 – Reason.  Jesus Christ gives the parables of heaven, what is Jesus Christ like?  He is completely changing their thoughts which were always based on the standards of the earth.  A seed fallen on good soil will bear 100, 1000 times fruit.  It might look like someone is a salesperson, but inside their possessions, the have the pearl of great price.  The Young Adults must see that there is no job that is good or bad, but what are you doing with it?  That’s very important.  There is a treasure hidden in the field. You work diligently, but there is something else.  The treasure that saves lives.  You need to open your eyes to see that, you need to change this world.

If this doesn’t change in you, then when you go to your workplace, you will be seized. If you go get a job, you have no choice but to make money, and you have to compete to avoid being fired, so you’re completely seized by money and people, then how will you change that field?  So, you must ask, “Who am I?” He opened their eyes to see the Kingdom of God.  I am not somebody who went into the field to make money, but I have the pearl of greatest value and I want to give that to people.  I’m not just there to work, but instead, I’m able to find the hidden treasure of evangelism and the life-saving movement.

If that doesn’t take place, you’ll leave when things get hard because you’re centered on money. You won’t quit because things are difficult, but you have to see there is a hidden treasure in the background. The life movement, the evangelism movement, it’s such a hidden treasure.  You are not just walking around, but you are the salesperson with the pearl of great price. You must see the field and your work this way to not be seized. God has changed this system.

  • The Concept-Changing Young Adult. The young adult that changes the concept.   There was a concept that the Jews and Pharisees and scribes had, what were they?  They tried very hard to follow God’s will, so they lived diligently.
  1. Previous Concept. They didn’t follow God, but they followed a textual script.  One day, on a Sunday, Jesus and His disciples got hungry and ate something, so the Pharisees asked, “Why are you working on a Sunday?” So, they have this concept where instead of looking to God, they look at the Word itself. In the Old Testament, David was being chased by Saul, and he goes into the holiest place and eats the bread. That’s something only the priests can eat, but the reason why that bread exists is to save people.  The reason that God gave us the Word of the law is to save people.  God gave us the law because we as sinners cannot follow the law, so He gave us the gospel.  God didn’t give us the law thinking that we can keep the law; He gave us the law as grace so that we can hold onto the gospel.  But they’ve lost hold of that concept.  So, we need to change this concept.

Especially the young adults, they have a worldly-centered concept, that is, success and money, the trends and fads you see with your eyes. That’s the young adult’s concept, that’s not bad, but with that, you cannot save yourself.  With that, you’ll never be able to save the church. You must change this concept into the gospel concept.

  • In Matthew 28:1-15, the Jews crucified Christ, “We don’t need the gospel.” They looked at the script so diligently and said, “We don’t need the gospel.”  Churches don’t need the gospel because they live with their legalism and the law. There is no forgiveness in raising people nor saving them; that’s why these people held onto the Bible as they crucified Jesus. If you don’t change that, there is no hope for the future churches, then the world has even less hope.
  • Matthew 28:16-20.  The concept must become like this, the concept of making disciples of all nations.  If you don’t change this into your concept, you cannot save the church nor the field. You hold onto the law and success, to money, then how do you think the future will be contained in that?  The one who has authority on heaven and on earth will be with you; therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.

Why do you work at your jobs? To make disciples of all nations, and until your concept changes, you cannot save the world.  That’s the reason why the one who has all authority on heaven and on earth will be with you forever. You can only overcome the field if the one with all authority in heaven and on earth is with you; but Satan deceives you, “Work hard and succeed, live earnestly.” You need money, of course, these words are not incorrect.  They are correct but Satan has taken something out, the words that Jesus gave us to make disciples of all nations.  If you take out the words “First seek His Kingdom and His righteousness,” then you have no choice but to follow the world.

Do you go to church and make money? Nonbelievers think this because they don’t believe in God; they have to take care of themselves, but the reason why we work is different.  With the eyes of the gospel, you’ll see differently, you’ll see the people caught in their 12 problems and you’ll save people of all nations. That’s how God will be with you.  If the young adults are doing some great or huge thing, that’s not important because you don’t know what will happen in 10 years. Your job is not important, but remain within the stream of gospelization with the eyes of the gospel.  Within the stream of Matthew 28:16-20, go into your fields. Without this stream, you’ll fall into the stream o the Jewish people, “I don’t need the gospel,” and the gospel becomes weak as the Jewish people are met with disaster.

  • Young Adult who can change the content.
  1. Acts 2:1-47. If you want to remain within the content of Acts 2, you must be within the content of Acts 1:1, 3, 8, because the filling of the Holy Spirit doesn’t happen for no reason.  Before that point, it is only Jesus Christ where all problems are finished. Holding onto that, you enter into the Kingdom of God. Holding onto that mission, you wait and pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit.  That is why you receive the important blessing of meeting like in Acts 2.  These blessings are very important and are bound to take place through the Holy Spirit. No matter how diligently you run, centered on yourself, materialism, and success, you cannot have this blessing. These are the blessing of meeting with the businesspeople of the 15 nations.  Then in Acts 2:9-11, you can give offering, meaning God gives you the economy as well when you remain within the covenant of Acts 1, going into Acts 2.
  • Acts 11:19.  What is the Antioch Church? You go into the flow of missions, beyond the stream of the region.
  • Romans 16:1-27.  You evangelize Rome; in other words, the stream of world evangelization.  This is the content you must change.  You have to remain within the stream of gospelization with your church. There is no reason to be anywhere else.  Every single word that people say might be correct, but they are within the flow of these 12 problems. Even though these problems are solved, they talk about who is right or wrong; they have the eyes of the law, centered on themselves, but you have to have the eyes of the gospel. If someone is wrong, you pray for them with the eyes of the gospel.  Without seeing this, you see them with different eyes.

Conclusion – Church of the Future

Tomorrow is the future, next year is the future, so what is the church that continues to progress?

  1. Stream – Team. The team that can ride this flow, this stream.  It is important to have this stream within gospelization.  Why do we keep talking about tears? Because everyone says they have the gospel but they don’t know about gospelization. Everyone knows Christ; who doesn’t know Christ? But they are in a misconception that they are inside the stream, so that’s why we say that gospelization is to start with the eyes of the gospel. When you look at the field with the eyes of the gospel, you will see that everyone is lost in the 12 problems, then you are also stuck in the 12 problems, so you must prepare to suffer.  Why? Because you’re already stuck in problems.  Christ has liberated you from this, but you individually remain in this, so everywhere you go, it’s a problem.  Whether you succeed or fail, it’s a problem because the source of your problems is your self-centeredness.  Create and go into the stream of gospelization.
  • Evidence. Then what happens is that God gives you the evidence of the fulfillment of God’s Word. Because you’re looking with the eyes of truth, the eyes of the gospel, God will give you that Word. If the Word of God is established in your life, it’s finished. It’s evidence that God is with you and the Word is fulfilled.
  • Revive Churches. Then the churches are revived, especially dependent churches.  If these were problems only in Korea, they could just take care of it there, but there are a lot of dependent churches in America, and many churches could help those churches in America. Gather your strength to save the churches. Missionaries have churches in the field, so help them to become independent.  Therefore, if the eyes of the gospel are opened, then God will continue to work the economy of light in you so you can continue to do this work. The evidence of the gospel will continue to come until Jesus comes again, and God will continue to work with the economy to proclaim the gospel.  That’s the second message, the economy of light.  The economy that proclaims the gospel and saves people.  The third message was about missions and the remnants.  The very first thing is that you first go into the stream of gospelization.

Look at yourself and the church and the field through the eyes of the gospel; you must never be deceived. I’m a child of God who is liberated from the 12 life problems.  I am not a religious person or legalistic person who is stuck within the frame of Genesis 3, 6, and 11, but I go to my workplace to discover the hidden treasures in the field.  I’m not simply going back and forth between jobs, but I have this mission with the pearl of greatest value to save lives.  Making good money and getting a good job is not a blessing, but really enjoying Christ is the blessing.  Right now, Satan completely enslaved everyone with the 12 life problems, so getting physical benefits is not a blessing at all. Escape from that with Christ. Who is the blessed one? Christ is the blessing.  The one who is blessed is the one who can see themselves with the eyes of Christ.

The one who sees the world accurately is the one who can see through the eyes of Christ, so you have to change the incorrect concept, content, and systems. There isn’t anything to change; just go into the stream.  Even if you tell someone to get rid of their legalism, they can’t, so just go into the blessing that the young adults must first and foremost enjoy. Do not just let this message pass by; even if you keep passing it by, you will ultimately have to come into this.  If the eyes of the gospel do not open and you do not become gospelized, your life will be miserable and you’ll be stuck in your own thoughts, and no matter how much you try, you cannot escape from yourself.  The eyes of the gospel and the stream of gospelization.

Prayer

God we thank You. I pray that the young adults will be able to go into the steam of the gospel first and foremost through the church officer conference, help us to be the ones who can save the churches and the field with the economy of light. May they become the young adults who can save the next generation with missions and evangelism. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, amen.
