Every Day, into the Stream of the Word, Prayer, and Evangelism (Acts 2:37-47)
Let us bless and greet one another, “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.” I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this confession will be fulfilled in your lives. The name of Christ is the name above all names, and it is the unique name. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we may be saved from sin, death, and Satan. It must be the name of Jesus Christ to break down the curses and disasters, and it must be the name of Jesus Christ to be set free from the trauma and scars of our past. Through the name of Jesus Christ, our future is guaranteed.
The sermon that Peter gave was about Jesus Christ entirely, and even if we hold onto Jesus Christ every day, all the time, it will not be lacking because He is the True God and He is our Lord. We cannot elevate any other name. For the people who know the name of Jesus Christ and pray, God works upon them with the Holy Spirit.
The title of today’s message is, “Every Day, into the Stream of the Word, Prayer, and Evangelism.” We live our lives every day, but how are we living every day? People in America and the world talk about whether you live every day diligently or in a lazy way, but more important than that is what content you live with. 1 John 2:16 says, “Everything in the world is the lust of the flesh,” the “lust of the flesh” is talking about the cravings of your physical body. Our thoughts, our emotions, and our mind is not from God; it is from the cravings of the flesh, and the “lust of the eyes,” so we live our lives based on the greed of what we see. We think about what would be best from our eyes, and we live our lives, always wondering how other people may look at us. And, the “pride of life.” We’re always thinking, “How can I live my life so that I can be proud?” These things do not come from the Father, but from the world.
How do we live our lives every day? The members of the Early Church were in a situation where they could not proclaim the gospel because they were a church that was deemed as heretics by the Jewish church, and the only thing that could change that stream was, “every day.” Every day, not holding onto the lust of the flesh, but the Word of God. Every day, not holding onto the lust of the eyes, but holding onto prayer. Every day, not holding onto the pride of life, but to evangelism. The ones who go into these three streams can change the stream of the world. Without changing this stream, we are always focused on what I’ve accomplished and my success, so we will be enslaved by Satan with our greed.
1. The Word
1) Upon Hearing (Acts 2:37)
(1) Cut to the heart (Acts 2:37)
Last week, Peter gave a sermon and it was regarding Jesus Christ. Peter proclaimed that, “This Jesus was made both Lord and Christ, and you have crucified this Jesus.” Today’s scripture says that they were cut to the heart. When we listen to a sermon, sometimes it makes our heart feel good, but sometimes it hurts. Heb. 4:12 says that the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates through bone and marrow… it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
We are the same, we are the ones who killed Jesus. We are sinners. Even though we were not physically there, even though I did not physically eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, I sinned against God. As evidence, I was born with Original Sin, separated from God, and that is the fundamental problem. If you forget about the fundamental problem, and you focus on other things, that’s secondary. This is the beginning of all problems, so our spirit is dead. If your spirit is dead, no matter what you try to do mentally, you will face your limitations, and Satan holds onto the people who are dead with the authority of the kingdom of the air.
(2) Inquiring of the other apostles (Acts 2:37)
(3) “What shall we do?” (Acts 2:37)
When the Holy Spirit works upon that state, our hearts are pierced, and then the people asked the Apostle, “What can we do?”
2) Peter
(1) Repent (Acts 2:38)
Peter said, “Repent.” Repent means to turn away from the path you are going down and return to God. Many people use the word, “repent” referring to moral and ethical things. When I was a nonbeliever, many nonbelievers live a morally ethical and clean life. So yes, we need morals and ethics as well, but the Bible is telling us to go back to the Word of God because of our unbelief. But if we only apply the word, “repentance” to morals and ethics, we are not having the true repentance. Right now, I’m on a path that is separated from God’s Word because I don’t believe in Him, but instead of focusing on that, I focus on morals and ethics, and there’s no difference between us and nonbelievers.
Do you know how much nonbelievers try to live a morally ethical and clean life? Yes, morals and ethics are included, but that’s not the entirety of repentance. The word, “repentance” here means that the Jewish people must turn to Jesus Christ and go back to believing in God.”
(2) Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38)
It says to be baptized in the name of jesus christ. Baptism is when people go into the water, and it represents death, and when they come out of the water, that represents resurrection. I, who was living in sin, have died on the cross with Jesus. When we come back out of the water, it represents living with Jesus Christ as our life. I am now living my life in faith with the life of Jesus Christ Who resurrected and lives in me. This is baptism.
(3) Receive forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38)
Then he said, “Receive forgiveness of your sins.” Why did Jesus come to earth? To forgive our sins–our Original Sin and our consequential sins.
(4) Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)
And, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit must dwell within us. Then, the image of God that was broken within us will become restored, and we who were separated from God will receive the Holy Spirit of God within us.
3) The Promise
(1) You and your children (Acts 2:39)
This is promised by God. He said, “This salvation is for you and your children.” This was promised and planned by God from long ages past, for you and your children, your family. “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you and your household will be saved,” this is talking about your whole family, and that’s why the gospelization and salvation of your entire family is important.
(2) All who are far off—everyone whom the Lord our God calls (Acts 2:39)
Peter also says, “All who are far off,” meaning all nations, “The people whom God has called,” all of these people are bound to receive salvation.
(3) Save yourselves from this corrupt generation (Acts 2:39)
To be saved from this corrupt generation.The word, “corrupt” is from God’s perspective. It doesn’t matter how morally and ethically well you live; if you do not believe in God, you are corrupted.
2. After Receiving the Word
1) Worship
Then it says that 3000 people believed in and received this message. For those who accept this message, how do they worship during times of worship? Wwe might not be able to see the worship fo the Early Church but we can read about it in the Bible.
(1) Devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching (Acts 2:42)
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching. The apostles” refers to those who traveled with and learned from Jesus, they received His teaching. What were the apostles teaching? The apostles used the scriptures of the Old Testament and pointed people to Christ. Even the Apostle Paul in Acts 17 said he proclaimed the rightfulness of Jesus Christ, so they talked about Jesus Christ, the work He did in His ministry for 3.5 years, and the work of dying on the cross and resurrecting. After He ascended post-rescurrection, He gave us the Holy Spirit. This is what the disciples taught, so the people would go to Church and receive this teaching from the apostles. The worship we give, it uses the 66 books of the Bible to tell of Jesus Christ, because only Jesus Christ is our Lord and our Savior, only Jesus Christ is the True God. There are many other churches and religions that teach differently. They talk about God but God does not receive that. It must be through the name of Jesus Christ because Jesus is God, and Jesus Christ has all authority in heaven and on earth. He has the sovereignty, and when you pray in the name of Jesus Christ, then God answers you. When you pray in the name of Jesus Christ, then the forces of darkness flee. When you testify of the name of Jesus Christ, then those people receive salvation. The perfect completeness of Christ, and we are sufficient with His name. We must be filled with that faith. There is no other name. We are satisfied with His name alone because He is the True God. Do not be seized by the scars and the traumas of your past, but hold onto the name of Jesus Christ. Do not be seized by your mental problems and illnesses, but instead, be seized by the name of Jesus Christ. Do not be obsessed with your studies or your job, but instead, be seized by the name of Jesus Christ. When you hold onto the name of Jesus Christ, then all authority in heaven and on earth will be restored within you.
For students, while you are studying, study in the name of Jesus Christ. Then, your studies will be used to make you a witness until the ends of the earth. Working professionals, you should work while you pray in the name of Jesus Christ because your business must be used for world evangelization. You need to pray for your health, because your physical body must be used for world evangelization. So, I hope you will pray for your spirit, soul, and body to be filled with Jesus Christ. When you pray in the name of Jesus Christ, right now, then your prayers go to the throne of heaven and God sends His angels to work upon you. There is no other name that will move God. No matter how much you pray, if you don’t pray in the name of Jesus Christ, it becomes nothing. If you pray all your life and you don’t end it in the name of Jesus Christ, it becomes nothing because the name of Jesus Christ is the most important name. In the name of Jesus Christ, your spiritual nad mental problems will be healed. In the name of Jesus Christ, the One Who has all authority in heaven and on earth is with me and works through me.
(2) Fellowship (Acts 2:42)
They also shared fellowship with one another. There are some situations where we have no choice but to worship online on our own, but the members of the Early Church gathered together and shared fellowship. When we share fellowship with the word of God, God works through the Holy Spirit. Then, our relationships will be restored and people will be raised up. But the more time passes, the harder it is to have fellowship. The people in the world have fellowship for their own personal goals. At school, we have a relationship with the students and teachers for the sake of your grades, but you may join a club for your hobbies, but the church is where you have the Word of God. Then, it doesn’t matter if a person is well-educated or not, if the person is elderly or young, because we share our fellowship with the Word of God. this is the Word God gave me today. This is what we shared fellowship with. At that time, the Holy Spirit of God works and the works of healing and power come upon us.
(3) Breaking of bread and prayer (Acts 2:42)
The breaking of bread, this is talking about Communion. The Communion represents Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. We may think we are students or powerless, but before that, we are children of God. I am a child of God who will do world evangelization. I am a child of God with Him Who has all authority in heaven and on earth. But nobody can overcome God,so nobody can overcome me because I’m child of God. My Father is God, so no one can overcome me. But I keep getting deceived because of my circumstances. Even though I’m not that smart, I’m a powerful child of God. Actually, all power is from God through Jesus Christ. I’m a child of God afflicted by drug and substance abuse. Even your substances cannot overcome God. This is our identity and our authority.
In the name of Jesus Christ, the forces of darkness and Satan flee. In the name of Jesus Christ, diseases will leave. In the name of Jesus Christ, all disasters are broken down because He is the True God. But we don’t know this, we’re being deceived, so we’re unable to useHis name. I hope you will continuously use the name of Jesus Christ, it’s like using your credit card again and again. Then what will happen? The Holy Spirit of the Lord will work. Use that card, why are you holding onto it without using it? May all my weaknesses break down in the name of Jesus Christ. May all of the disbelief be broken down in the name of Jesus Christ. May all the power of heaven and earth be upon me May all the forces of darkness be broken in the name of Jesus Christ. There are some people who are your enemies, right? In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that the forces of darkness hindering our family and church be broken down. If you pray in the name of Jesus Christ, God answers.
The cross restores our identity and authority. When you pray about someone, they will be healed, so just pray; whether a person gets better or not, that’s up to God. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ. If you’re not that smart, put your hand on your head and pray in the name of Jesus Christ. If your body is in pain, put your hand on it and pray. Anything you pray for that is not for the greed of your flesh will not receive answers. Pray even right now. You need to keep the angels busy, keep sending your prayers to receive answers. What are you worried about? Pray, your angels should be so busy. If your angels are bored because they have nothing to do, that’s wrong. You should keep your angels so busy because they are living your prayers to heaven. God receives your prayers through His angels.God is working even now, transcending time and space.
2) Offerings
(1) Shared everything in common (Acts 2:44)
People sold their property. Communism was founded on this very scripture because he read the scripture that was the birth of communism. So, this began with the rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer. The Holy Spirit must work. When the Holy Spirit worked upon them, 3000 people were saved, so they sold all their possessions and gave them to the needy.

(3) Distributed to each person according to their need (Acts 2:45)
Why share anything? We are brothers and sisters in Jesus CHirst, and you even share everything with your physical family, don’t you? Inside of the church, they’re asking so now, they began to share. They sold property and during this time, they were accused of being heretics so they could not work within society and yet 3000 people gathered. So, what they had to do was to sell all of their possessions. This is talking about offering. The principle of God’s finances is sharing and distribution..
God is the Master of all material possessions. If our next generation doesn’t understand this, they’ll work so hard and be enslaved to money. The Bible says you either serve money or you serve God; you must choose between the two. If you choose God, money follows. May you have this faith restored.
3) In Practice—Daily Life
(1) Met together in the temple courts with one accord (Acts 2:46)
(2) Broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts
The Early Church began with people meeting in their homes. What does God wants? God wants us to gather in our local regions to worship. So, yes, on the Lord’s Day, we gather all together in the church, and we worship and receive the Word of God together. So they gathered together in the temples and in their homes. Every day, every day they received the breaking of bread, and what do they do when they gather there?
(3) Praised God (Acts 2:47)
They shared the Word of God, fellowship, and prayer with one another. They ate together with glad and sincere hearts, and they praised God, they are praising. If you don’t praise God, then you’ll always be elevating people. We need to praise God instead. We elevate a singer or some kind of idol, or we elevate ourselves. Instead, elevate God.
(4) Enjoyed the favor of all the people (Acts 2:47)
How can you receive the favor and praise of people, including nonbelievers? Will you receive favor if you’re just standing still? The Book of Romans tells us to live and be considerate for the sake of people in the field, nonbelievers. Align everything in your life based on the salvation of nonbelievers … that is how they lived.
(5) The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved (Acts 2:47)
We align ourselves to the nonbelievers in the field in order to save their souls. But, the American ideology is so individualistic … but that is the method of the devil. That’s why you’re not able to see the work of God in your field. You just need to go into the world and save lives. That is why I’m a servant to save nonbelievers. The Bible says if you want to be in a high place, you must serve. Serve others, the one who serves others will be a leader. So our next generation must keep this in your heart, you must not follow money, you cannot follow your studies, we must follow God. Studies should follow you and money should follow you, because I am following God. But if I don’t follow God, I’ll be enslaved by my studies and by money. I’ll be enslaved by the environment of the world. But if I follow God, then the world has to follow me. This is the blessing that we have, we call this, true success. What is the wrong success? We follow the world and have success of the world, but we are enslaved by the ruler of the air, which is Satan,and we fail. But we are the ones who follow God, then the world will follow us.
So they received favor from all people and were adding daily to their number. Evangelism means we are praying …, we align everything we do for nonbelievers. If you adjust everything to match a person, then they will not be offended, so they open their heart to you, and when they have a problem, they come to you for it, and we serve then, for the salvation of their souls, and we must use our money for them, too, we use the authority in the world for them. God continues to work upon us with His unlimited power and challenge. God is the source of all things, so do not lose hold of the past, present, and future. Don’t hold onto your business, but hold onto the Triune God Who moves. Stop holding onto your studies but instead, hold onto God, then you can share, you can distribute, you are distributing for the forgiveness of souls, then the one who is the source of all things Who is the source of all things will pour more into you. Because God has prepared everything for the salvation of human souls.
3. Daily
1) Fulfillment of the Word
(1) Jesus Christ, who accomplished all things (John 19:30)
Jesus Christ finished everything on the cross, the fundamental problems of our life. The source of all problems is sin, the source of all problems is our spiritual death, and the source of all problems is the fact we are seized by Satan. Jesus Christ died on the cross and resurrected to solve this problem, but nonbelievers don’t know this and want Him to solve their physical problems, and that fundamental problems flows all the way down to me. These spiritual problems have come to me using religion and idols, and it has come to me as a mental illness through my scars. This is my life with problems I cannot even see. This problem goes directly into the next generation.
Christ has finished all of that on the cross. You need to know Christ correctly and relay Him. Jesus sid not come to earth to solve your physical problems, but there’s a problem even before. If the fundamental problems are not solved, you cannot be a new creation.
(2) A new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20)
I died on the cross with Christ and now Christ lives in me. I’m no longer “me,” but I’m the “me” that believes in Christ. The One Who has all authority in heaven and on earth is with me forever, no one can block that “me.”
(3) Authority in heaven and on earth—He is with us (Matthew 28:20)
He is with me now, with all authority in heaven and on earth. Even right now, He is with us, even right now, He is with all things, If you believe in this, He works; if you don’t believe this, you will see nothing, so yes, it’s important to know this, but you must believe it. Going through the valley of the shadow of death is not what’s important, but what’s important is the Lord is with me.. But we will never be crushed. Even if we face death, we come back to life. Then, why would you shake in fear before death? Everybody is destined to die, so even if you die, I believe the authority of death has already been broken down.
2) Answered Prayer
(1) John 14:13–14: Two or three people gathered in My name
(2) John 15:7; Revelation 8:3–5
When two or more people gather in the name of Jesus Christ, He promised to be there with them. When my “word” comes upon you, believe you have already received it… There are a few people who are falling asleep, but I hope you are listening while you doze. Yes, we fall asleep because our physical bodies are weak, but you must hold onto this. Worship is giving our lives. If we don’t give our lives to worship, we will be enslaved to worldly things. We give our lives to the Triune God, that is how we will receive answers that will save our lives.
(3) Matthew 6:33: The Kingdom; Matthew 12:28–29
(4) Philippians 4:6–7
Matthew 6:33 says, “First, seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness.” Matthew 12:28-29 says, “If it is by the power of the Holy Spirit that I cast out demons, then theKingdom of God is upon you.” May the Kingdom of God be established, and evil spirits be cast out. Phil. 4:6-7 says to give all things to God in prayer and petition. All things, give it to God for prayer and thanksgiving because He will answer. So, why are you worried about it? If you pray, you will receive answers. If you worry, then evil spirits work on that. 1 Peter 5:7-8 says the enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. If you pray, your problems turn into answers. God has given us incredible answers, so even right now, pray.
3) Evangelism Movement
(1) The Region: A Watchtower That Transforms the Spiritual Flow
(2) The Family Lineage
(3) The Nation
Finally, it’s the evangelism movement. Why did God allow you to meet people in your life? God’s goal is to save those people so pray for that, then God will work with the blessing of salvation. There is a spiritual stream in your region and family line. We must change that stream, how? Through the Word of God, prayer, and evangelism. Otherwise, you cannot change the stream. We can only change the stream with the Triune God, through the Word, prayer, and evangelism. Even right now, God is working with these three things. I hope you will change the stream of your family line It will change. But the devil makes you worry instead of pray, the devil makes you try to do something yourself, but instead, first pray to establish God’s Kingdom because God must reign first. That is how the works of God’s Kingdom are our answers.

In conclusion, every day go to the stream of God’s Word. Instead of the lust of your flesh, go into sthe stream of prayer … Instead of going into the pride of life, go into the stream of evangelism. Even right now, God is working through these streams and the Early Church ois … What church is a good church? The church that goes into these three streams is good in GOd’s eyes. Being good …
Message Prayer
I bless you in the name of jesus christ that you will be in these three streams all week only. There is a word of the covenant that God is giving to the church individually today. If you have not received that covenant, then you have failed in worship, so before you go back home, listen again in the church. You must stay here until you hold onto this covenant. And that word will go into fulfillment. Then you will hold onto that Word into the stream of prayer. Then you take that word and you evangelize to other people in your field. Let us pray.
Offering Prayer and Newcomer Blessing
God, we thank You. We give praise to the Triune God that has saved us, who were destined to death, with the grace of the cross and Jesus Who is with us in life. Allow us to remain within the stream of word, prayer, and evangelism every day. May we become the people who save and change the stream of our family line.
We pray You will bless the hands that have given You the offering so it may be used for the precious work of saving people. May we have the kind of faith that does not lack for world evangelization. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the unending love of God, the indwelling, working, filling, and guidance of the Holy Spirit, be upon all the people of God, the people of all nations, and the remnants who desire to
