Jesus Christ Who Saves the Fundamentals (Mt. 9:18-34)
Let us bless one another, “Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.” May the blessing of Christ be upon you today as well. The Word we are hearing about today is all about healing. The first work of healing is the girl who was dead, and the second was a woman with a bleeding disease. Then, in the third scene, we see two blind men who were healed, and the fourth is a person who was demon-possessed and could not talk. Don’t you think what’s important is “Are these things happening today as well?”
However, if you go to church and you lose hold of things like this, you’ll lose hold of all faith. The reason is because the incorrect faith has gone into us, so we will have the incorrect works. However, the point of interest we have when we believe in the Bible or live our walk of faith, it is not God Himself, it is in the works. The fact that we are only focused on the works means we are only interested in the results of getting what we want. As a result of having this incorrect faith regarding the Bible, our lives are continuously ruined.
Depending on the background that you lived with your entire life, the way you see the Bible will be different. People who have a shamanistic background have this idea of faith that we will have physical healings. The people who grew up with a Confucianism background will believe they need to live their walk of faith with principles and the law. There are people who don’t grow up with any kind of religion, but just have a bowl of water or piece of bread that they would beg to, and they thought that with diligence, they can do anything, so that’s how they saw the Bible.
However, through today’s worship and through today’s Bible passage, I hope that the accurate Words, the accurate faith, and the resulting works will take place in your lives. In other words, when we face a problem, we’re interested in solving that problem, in other words, we are only interested in “what I desire,” we actually have no interest in God because that is how we’ve learned from the beginning.
So, today, through the Bible, what is God trying to tell us? All the acts of healing we saw were preceded by faith. Does that mean we should just believe? If my business fails and I just say, “I believe,” will He fix it? If I have a disease and just say, “I believe,” will He heal me? But because He is not healing me, I lose my faith. So what is God trying to tell us through today’s Bible passage?
1. Law of the Jews
The book of Matthew was written for the Jewish people who had a knowledge of the Old Testament, so we have to know the background of the Old Testament. The Jewish people lived their lives with the background of knowledge of the Old Testament, and this person named Matthew was writing a book for the Jewish people with that background.
1) Illness and death
(1) Result of sin
The Old Testament tells us that the illnesses and death are a result of sin.
(2) Bound by Satan (1 Jn. 3:8)
It says in 1 Jn. 3:8 that those who sin are of the devil. The diseases you may be thinking about and the diseases the Jewish people thought about are different.
(3) Curse
The Jewish people believed that illnesses and death are a result of sin and the curses of sin. In today’s passage, the Synagogue leader’s daughter had died. In the synagogue, the Jewish people made the synagogue because after the Jewish people were taken captive by Babylon, they were no longer able to worship in the Temple, so in the synagogue, they would worship with the Word, and even after the Israelites returned from captivity in Babylon, the synagogues remained in regions, and the synagogues remained even until Jesus Christ came.
What they did in the synagogue was that the synagogue leader would read a part of the scripture and they would call somebody to lecture or speak about that scripture. So, being the synagogue leader means he has very good knowledge about the laws of the Old Testament when his daughter had died. Her father, the synagogue leader, told Jesus Christ, “if you lay your hand on her, she will live.”
Then, what about today, for you guys? If you place your hand on a dead person, will they come to life? If there’s a pastor with tremendous faith and they put their hand on a dead person, will they come back to life? That is why people look at the Bible and say this is unrealistic, that this is something they shouldn’t believe in. It’s because they don’t know the whole reason why Jesus Christ did and said the things He did; they only look at the things that they want, and they say, “It’s not taking place now.”
2) Contact with corpse and illness
(1) Unclean – Purify X – Cut off from the covenant (Num. 19:11-13)
(2) Unclean – Contact with man who has a discharge (Lev. 15:7)
(3) Priest – Sin, burnt offering (Lev. 15:15, 30)
In Num. 19:11, it says, “Whoever touches the dead body of anyone will be unclean,” themselves. Because of this uncleanliness, this person may have some disease, or some other consequence. Then, why is it that the synagogue leader, who must have known that law very well, asked Jesus Christ to lay His hand on his dead daughter? If Jesus Christ lays His hand upon his dead daughter, then that uncleanliness will go to Jesus, so what is the faith with which the synagogue leader said this?
3) Synagogue leader’s daughter, woman who had been bleeding
(1) Daughter died – Believed that if He put His hand on her, she will live (Mt. 9:18, Mk. 5:36)
The faith was really put into practice by this synagogue leader today, but the real issue is, what is that faith regarding? Is he talking about the faith that, if Jesus lays His hand on her, she will come to life? If there’s any of you who believe that way, that is an incorrect faith. Is it a true faith if you believe whenever you face a problem, that this problem will be solved? That is an incorrect faith, it’s the same thing. So, when we say “faith,” what faith are we talking about? It is talking about the faith that knows “Who are we believing in?” and then, according to that faith, automatically, the works will take place.
But most people have an incorrect faith, simply believing, “I believe I’ll get what I want.” It’s because they don’t truly have any interest in God; they only want what they want, so they say, “I believe God will take care of this problem, I believe God will get rid of it for me,” and that faith gets relayed into their children, and the whole faith crumbles. The same instance is recorded in Mark 5:36, and Jesus tells the synagogue leader, “Do not be afraid, just believe.“ Then in Mark 5:41, it says Jesus “took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!”, which means “Little girl, get up!”
(2) Woman who had been bleeding – Touched his cloak – Faith that heals (Mt. 9:22)
The second healing we see today is this woman who had a bleeding disease. We still have bleeding diseases today, mostly in women. There are also men who have this bleeding disease as well, where they cannot stop bleeding, so they cannot undergo any surgery. But there is this woman who had a bleeding disease, and she simply touched the edge of Jesus’ cloak and was healed. However, there are some people who read this Bible passage and believe, “If I just go up near the pastor, then I will be healed,” they are believing blindly without really knowing the content of their faith. It is a faith where they think, just if they believe they’ll get what they want, they will get it. That is not right.
(3) Sin, curses to Jesus – Power to the dead daughter and woman (Mk. 5:30, 41)
Even right at this moment, if you have the accurate faith, then the works of faith are taking place upon you at this moment. Who is Jesus? Jesus Christ is the One Who came to this earth as the King of the Kingdom of God and as the King of this land. What is the faith with which the synagogue ruler had regarding his daughter’s death? He had the faith and believed, “You are the Messiah Who can overcome the curses, disasters, darkness, and Satan’s grasp upon my daughter’s death,” and as the work of that faith, God began to work. Then, it is up to God whether the dead person comes to life or not. In your situation, when you have this accurate faith, the works may differ, depending on the case. Even if this daughter was brought back to life, she’s going to die again eventually, so that’s not the reason why He did this work.
This is the true God, the true King, the Messiah. “He is the true Messiah Who is able to solve the state of curses because of my daughter’s sin.” Because he had faith regarding this Messiah, the works of His faith took place. It was the same with the woman with the bleeding disease. The works did not take place just because she touched His cloak. She had faith. What is that faith? It was the same faith. “You are the King of all Kings, You are the Master of the Kingdom of God, and You are the Master of Life.” Then, the main point is not her bleeding disease getting better, but the cause of that bleeding disease–the curses and disasters of her sin can be healed by this Messiah, that is the faith that she grabbed His cloak with, and the work of that faith resulted in healing.
There are some people who remain in their disease even after believing. Even though the correct faith has gone into this person, God allows this disease to remain, and that just depends on the Lord’s plan. God allows this disease to remain because through this disease, God has a plan to bless all the families and surrounding people. Apostle Paul lived with an illness his entire life. It was not because God lacked the power, but God allowed the illness to remain so Paul could be accurately and correctly used by God for the rest of his life.
In Mark 5:30-31, it says when this woman touched the edge of Jesus’ cloak, He felt the power had gone from him. It wasn’t because her hand physically touched His cloak, but it was because of her faith that she received His power, and that’s when God begins to work. On this day, the two problems were solved. When the accurate faith goes in, according to God’s plan, the works will take place.
When you face a problem, what is the faith you apply? When you face a crisis, what is the faith you have? Do you have the faith to apply that says, “I believe this problem will be resolved,” or do you have the faith to believe, “The One Who has solved all the curses and disasters of my sin and is my Lord and Savior is with me”? When you have the accurate faith in Jesus Christ put into place, then God works. Then, that problem will change into an opportunity for blessings because the Lord does not give us curses, the Lord gives us blessings.
That is why you should not continue to live your walk of faith, holding onto your own stubborn thoughts. If you hold onto your stubborn thoughts and do your 40 days of fasting prayer, you’ll just have your thoughts received, and later on, if you remain stubborn, you might get beaten up. It’s like a child who continues to remain stubborn and throw temper tantrums, then one day, their parents might discipline them. Your stubbornness, your unrelenting stubbornness, is not faith, but there are some people who think this unrealistic or fantastical faith is faith. They don’t even have the content of their faith; they just say, “I believe,” that is an unrealistic faith, but they think that’s faith. There are some people who have already decided what to believe, saying, “I believe in this,” and that is an incorrect faith.
2. Jesus Christ, Son of David
What is the faith the Lord desires from us today? It is the faith that Jesus is the Christ. Jesus is the True King of the Kingdom of God, He is the Master of my life. When you confess that faith, then God begins to work and God desires to use you as a witness of this.
1) Two Blind men
(1) Son of David – King of the kingdom of God (Mt. 9:27)
The third situation we saw today is the two blind men who heard of Jesus Christ and found Him and said, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” They made this confession even before they could see Him with their eyes, but there are some people who cannot make that confession even after seeing Jesus. So, just because you’re able to see doesn’t mean you can see; you must be able to see the spiritual things.
(2) Those whose spiritual eyes are open
How do you see this present circumstance spiritually? You cannot see just because you can see; they saw Jesus was the son of David. There is something the Jewish people know when they hear, “Son of David.” David is the king and they’re confessing Jesus is the King. Jesus has come to this earth as the King of the Kingdom of God. That is the confession of these two blind men who were not even able to see.
(3) Faith – Sight restored (Mt. 9:28-29)
The works took place according to that faith, and the work was that they were able to see. There was someone named Fanny Crosby in America who was blind, and do you think God let her see? It was better for this individual for God to allow her to remain in blindness. She received so much greatness that she was even invited to the White House by four different US Presidents. She made this confession, “God, do not open my eyes to see, because if that is better, that is what I want.” But if it is better for God to open her eyes, then He would let her see. I hope you will believe in that God.
If you don’t believe in that God, you’re going to create your own standards and your own environment you want, and say, “Please give me this, please give me that,” and if you don’t get it, you’ll stop believing, then that is the wrong faith. Is it true that Jesus Christ is the King of all Kings or the Master of your life? I hope you will believe that, and once you believe, God will begin to work in your life as the King of all Kings. You might stay blind, or you might be healed, that’s up to God, because He guides us towards blessings. For most people, there is no reason for God to open your blindness.
2) Person who was demon-possessed and could not talk
(1) King’s authority – Demons X, able to talk (Mt. 9:33)
The fourth scene we see today is a man who is demon-possessed and could not talk. There might be some doctors who have experienced this before, but they are not able to diagnose something. However, the diseases are still there, and that’s something the doctors cannot solve. The doctors will say, “We cannot solve this.” It’s not because the disease was so severe, but because there’s not even a cause for this disease, they don’t know what to do about it. For this person, it is a disease that comes because of demon-possession. That is not something that is visible by taking an X-ray or MRI because the disease is a result of demon-possession.
Regarding this person, because Jesus Christ came as the King of all Kings, Satan and demons are all cast out. Because the demons are cast out, this person who was once mute begins to speak. The four scenes we see today are simply the result of believing that Jesus is the Christ, the King of all Kings. These are the results that come when I have the accurate faith that Jesus Christ is the King of the Kingdom of God and the Master of my life. I hope you will stop being so obsessed about the result, but instead, be obsessed about who your Master is, then your Master will work according to His time schedule and plan.
(2) Pharisee – Heal by the prince of demons (Mt. 9:34)
This scene of demons being cast out is explained in detail in Matthew 12. Because Jesus Christ is casting out all these demons, the Pharisees say, “It is by the prince of demons that He drives out demons.“ The Pharisees are people who knew so much about the Bible, and they were people who lived their lives according to the scriptures. However, with all of their knowledge, they are saying this about Jesus Christ, that He is casting out demons with the strength of demon-possession.
(3) Eyes opened through God’s grace
If you don’t receive God’s grace, your eyes cannot be opened. It doesn’t matter how much you have by the standards of the world, you cannot see the spiritual things unless you receive God’s grace. Just like the people who confessed today, “Have mercy on us, son of David!” if you have all the background of all the Biblical knowledge you have, the works will never take place. If you hold onto all your diligent work, the works will never take place because your diligence does not put this into motion. The harder you work, you may have physical rewards, but you can never gain more faith that way.
3) God’s Kingdom
(1) Holy Spirit – Power (Mt. 12:28)
(2) Drive out demons – Kingdom of Satan (Mt. 12:28)
(3) God’s Kingdom (Mt. 12:28)
The principle of the demons being cast out in today’s scripture is in Matthew 12:28, “But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.” The principle is that when you believe that Jesus is the Christ, then the Spirit of God will work to cast out demons.
(4) Priority – First bind the strong man (Mt. 12:29)
That is why in Matthew 12:29, it says, “First bind the strong man.” You need to understand what the correct priorities are. No matter what you are dealing with, whether you’re studying, fighting in a war, or practicing some kind of skill, there is an order of priority. If you don’t know the order of priority and you just work hard, regardless, the result will not be what you want. Even if you look at the people who have physical success, they always do one thing first of all, without changing. However, if you look at the failures, they also work hard, but they don’t know what to prioritize first.
We learn our basics in elementary school, but we didn’t study then. They start working hard in middle school, but this doesn’t result because of our hard work. Without a doubt, we have to have the sharp basics. If you don’t have the basics, then even if you work hard in middle school, you will not be able to accelerate the way that you want. Even when Michael Jordan became the king of basketball, there is a reason why, and all the players did the same. The very first priority, he did it every single day. Michael Jordan, before every game, he would go before the brink of dawn and shoot 500 shots at the basket by himself. You can’t even see at the brink of dawn because it’s so dark, but he made all the shots by himself, then he went into the game that day with that memory or sense, with that kind of muscle memory. But the characteristic of people who are not able to succeed for a long time is that they don’t do this, they still work very hard, but you need to have the correct priorities. I asked a Taekwondo master what he does every day, and he says, “I punch and kick every day,” that is that person’s priority. Everybody punches and kicks in Taekwondo, but most people don’t do that. As they become more and more advanced, they don’t go with the basics, so for decades, they would do those two moves, punching and kicking every day, and as he did that, he would become more and more advanced, but the difference is the speed and the power. Everybody punches when they do Taekwondo, and everybody kicks, so what’s the difference? There is a difference if they do not lose hold of their priority.
It’s the same with our faith, every day we wake up, every day we live so diligently, and every day, we live with faith, but what is the faith you live with, and what are the priorities with which you live? That determines whether somebody will be successful with their faith or not. What must we do first? God’s Kingdom must be established first. I keep telling you guys about the war going on in Ukraine. You need to shoot the missiles first, you need to destroy them first, then after that, the army goes in. If you don’t shoot the missiles first, all your soldiers will die. It’s the same with the spiritual things.
Today, during the worship time, God’s Kingdom must be established in the field you will go to this week. The demons, Satan, and the forces of curses must be broken down. Then after that, when you guys go into your business fields from Monday through Saturday, you will reap all the rewards. But we don’t make that a priority. Yes, you do believe, but you have faith in your own diligence, you have faith in your own abilities or you have faith in the background of the people you know. Or some people believe in luck. They have this very vague sense, “Don’t you think God is going to work?” That’s just believing in fortune or luck.
What is the true faith? Jesus is the Christ. God has finished all curses, disasters, and Satan. Every time you face a problem, I hope you will make this confession, then God will work. How does He work? I hope you will stand as a witness of how He works. In that situation, whether the problem stays or goes away, He will take you into blessings. I hope you will pray for the kingdom of God to be established, and the working of the Holy Spirit in the field you will go. What destroys you is not people, but the evil enemy, the devil. That enemy destroys you through people. So, if you know this fact, you know what you must do first. I hope you will set this as your very first priority every day very well.
An army that does this well is the army that can fight well. In the past, when you looked at the Iraq war, American soldiers were very good at fighting because they were always fighting in wars, and when we declared war with Iraq, there was something we did first. Through the commanders, they already pointed out the key strategic places, and they destroyed those key strategic places first so that Iraq could not have any strength, then the battle is already over.
What kind of life do we live on this earth? Is this a life where you just work hard? Is it a life where you just try your best? Is it a life where you just try to live well, or live a good life? Or is it a life where you say, “If I do it, then I’ll do it”? Those are the words of people who are separated from God. What must we do first? God’s Kingdom must be established first. Satan and curses must be broken down. If you don’t do this, and you just work hard, then Satan’s curses will enter into your field and you cannot do anything to block this.
It doesn’t matter how good or upright of a business you’re trying to run; if you’re swarmed on all sides by conmen, it will not work, so that is why we must have the priority set. Do you know what worship is? It is setting your priority. What happens, invisible to your eyes, when you worship? The Word goes deeply into your heart and the works take place according to that Word. But if you don’t believe in that Word and you only believe in the incorrect things taking place, you’re not able to see God’s works. God works according to the Word He has given to me, exactly. You hold onto the Word God has given to you, and every day in the field, you pray, “God, may the Holy Spirit work according to the Word you have given to me,” then what happens? All the curses and disasters of your family line are broken down. The fundamental cause of all of your failure will be broken down. All the things making you fall down because of the pandemic will be destroyed. For us, that is who we are.
What kind of faith will you put into practice? When you put into practice the faith that believes in and enjoys who the target of your faith is, then works will take place.
3. Jesus Christ’s resurrection, ascension, second-coming
1) Solved mankind’s fundamental problem – Cross
Jesus Christ died on the cross, resurrected, ascended to heaven, and later on, He will come back. On the cross, Jesus Christ finished the fundamental problem of mankind. But there are many people who understand those words, but don’t really understand. They keep putting it into practice in the incorrect way, saying, ”The things I see with my eyes are not being resolved.” What are the problems humans can never solve no matter how hard they try? It is the curses and disasters of sin, it is Satan and hell. If that fundamental thing is not solved, then all the problems will keep coming to you.
(1) It is finished – Authority of sin, Satan, hell (Jn. 19:30)
That is the problem He has finished on the cross, that’s what it means that He has finished everything, and that is why now, the Triune God is now with me as my Master, then you will see a lot of things with your eyes before you, like problems and crises, then I hope you will make the correct confession of faith. All fundamental problems have been finished and now He is the Master of my life. Why did He allow this problem? It changes all into a blessing because God does not give us curses; He gives us blessings. I hope you will have your thoughts change based on the accurate foundation of the Word of God.
(2) United with Jesus – Death, resurrection (Gal. 2:20, Rom. 5:6-8)
I have been united with Jesus Christ by His death on the cross, and I have been united with Him in His resurrection. Who is the “me” who has died? The “me” who died on the cross was the “me” who lived as the master of my own life. Even right now, the cause of all my problems is that I place myself in the seat of God. Why are you always angry? It is because you are god. “But I’m not God,” you’re angry because you say your thoughts are correct, that means you are deciding what is good or what is evil, and that’s why you get angry.
The Bible tells us, “Do not let the sun set on your anger lest you sin.” What is that sin? Quickly let go of the fact where you are in the seat of God. Why do you think you’re correct when the other person is wrong and get angry because of that? That goes into someone’s entire life. They’re not able to endure that anger, so it results in shootings, drug addictions, and alcohol addictions. You have to quickly be set free from the sin where you placed yourself in the seat of God; you have to put everything from the standard of God’s Word. The method is not you doing something, either. The method is revealed by God’s works.
We believe in Jesus, but there are some people who still cannot control their anger and wrath. They do believe in Jesus but they don’t believe in Jesus in that situation. That is someone who believes in their own correctness so they’re not able to endure the other person being wrong. That is sin and that is the channel by which Satan works. Until the very end, they are holding onto their own correctness, so they can never get rid of their anger with that other person. You need to quickly change. You need to look at that person through God’s Word, then Satan will flee and curses will flee. Then, the things that used to make you so angry will subside.
There are so many shootings and they’re committed by young people, there were 11 people killed in Monterey Park. Why do you think they killed? Do you think people commit shootings because they feel so good? They went to shoot in a place where people go to dance, why do you think they were so angry? They are not able to hold their anger. “These people need to die.” That person doesn’t even know the other person’s circumstances, their wife could have passed away, and they just kill because they think everyone needs to die. He is his own standard, and that is where Satan worked, and then he killed.
Do you think this is solvable by American education? It doesn’t matter how advanced American education gets; it will only get more severe. There was one time in Seattle or San Francisco where a veteran went out and shot up a college party. Why did he kill them? He said, “I was struggling for life and death in the army, fighting in wars; meanwhile, these college students are just partying,” so he had to kill all of them. So he was holding onto his own correct standards and he wasn’t able to endure his own anger, and that was the channel through which Satan worked.
Is the fighting between you and your spouse very severe? Do parents constantly get mad at their children? Think about it carefully, what kind of state are you in? You’re angry because you say you are correct, then you need to ask God. You are putting yourself in the position of God, but God is correct and the method is the Holy Spirit. That is the way for God to be your Master, then your anger naturally subsides, it doesn’t work to hold your anger.
As long as you hold onto the fact that you are correct, you have no choice but to continue to be angry. There are even a lot of legalistic people who believe that is faith. You have to be right, but you cannot live in a good way. Only God Himself, the Word of God is correct. Today, may all your anger, all your wrath, and the things you relay to other people because of those things be broken down. You were successful in your past, and you look at your present self, and you’re so angry, and because you are so frustrated with your present state, you have to keep drinking alcohol. You’re not just drinking for no reason, there’s something inside of you and it’s just resulting in alcohol. I hope that the fundamental thing will be healed. “Oh, I used to do so well,” but what does that even mean? Your standard is your money and your position so you look down on people who don’t have that. It’s because of our standards. In the past, you were just like that, but now, God is allowing this present situation so you can change yourself in front of God’s Word. You need to have faith about God’s accurate Word in order for your family and the field of America to come to life.
(3) Me – With, evangelism, authority to drive out demons (Mk. 3:13-15)
In Mark 3:13-15, it says Jesus called them to be with them and to send them out to preach. The fact that God is with you means that I no longer need myself. You confess that God is with you when you completely entrust all your life to Him and He is your Master. Then, Jesus Christ sent them out to preach, meaning He will send you out to your field, whether to study or to work.
What does “Evangelize” mean? Evangelism is giving this answer to the people who don’t know the fundamental problem and solution. Why is it hard to evangelize? It’s because you have an incorrect faith, and no matter how much you try to evangelize, it doesn’t take place. Why is evangelism so easy? Because you know the fundamental things, you can give them the answer. Then, for that person, God will always attach more people and when God attaches people to business people, God will even lead your business forward. That’s how God does it. I’m just talking about the fundamental things, but God is working upon my business as well. And He gives me the authority to cast out demons.
When you pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the demons flee. That’s invisible, but it reveals itself in a visible way. There is a common factor that comes down your family line. People who believe in Buddhism influence their children the same way. It’s hard for the correct faith to go in because you have such a different background. Depending on the background of the family line as well as the region, what are the religions that are setting up posts in that region? Then the spiritual works of those religions will be revealed visibly. That is why He gave the authority to cast out demons. This is talking about the spiritual world. These things don’t take place for no reason; they are taking place from the spiritual things. That is why it’s only possible if Jesus gives you the authority to cast out demons.
2) God’s kingdom
(1) Background, power of the throne (Ac. 1:3)
(2) Experience power – Within me, field (Ac. 1:8)
(3) To the ends of the earth – Me, church, field answer (Ac. 1:8)
(4) Save past today, future
Now we are children of God, meaning the kingdom of God is my background, the power of the throne is my background. Now, your Father has changed and you receive everything from your Father. I hope you will experience this first with your faith, “Wow, God is with me, wow, God is doing this,” that must be established in you first. Then, God’s power can be established in your field, that’s why we pray. When we pray, the Lord sends His heavenly angels to work in your fields. When there is spiritual confusion, God sends His angels to fight the spiritual battle. Right now at this time, that is why worship is everything.
The future of your life is determined right now. There might be some people who disagree but by the time you see the result, it will be too late. If you only believe when you’re all beaten up and broken, it’s too late. May you believe in God and believe in God’s Kingdom, then it will come to you as answers. If you accomplish something by working hard, even unbelievers do that. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work hard, you should, but that’s the physical principle. The answer is something else. The answer that comes from the throne of heaven is irrespective of my hard work. The blessing of those answers come as a result of your faith. Then when you receive God’s answers, you change into someone who saves lives.

Will you live under the curses of poverty or will you save people with the answers of economy? God doesn’t give the answers of economy to just anyone, you need to have the correct faith for God to work. What kind of faith are we talking about? When you have faith regarding God’s works, so God is bound to work upon you, when you say, “I will use my business to make disciples of all nations,” then God will work upon the blessings of the economy upon that business. “I will run my business to raise up and heal the church,” then God will work according to that faith. If your faith goes in to use your business to raise the future generations, missionaries, and evangelists, God is bound to work. “I will use my business to raise up the Temple that will continue to block the curses and disasters of this region until Jesus’ second coming,” then God will work. There are these traveling doctors who just take their briefcase and diagnose people while wandering around; however, if you build a hospital, the patients will come. if you can’t decipher between these two, you cannot receive answers. If you keep thinking, “Why don’t we just evangelize ourselves?” then you’re receiving the answers of a wandering doctor.
Even if we fight a war, we don’t fight it like that; we have to set up a base camp, and then whether you deploy from there or not, it’s the same thing for the hospital. You need to have a location that is set for patients to gather, and after that, you can send these doctors out or not. If you don’t understand this in the church and this region, then your business will always remain mediocre. On the other hand, there are religions that are setting up their frame and spreading the culture of idolatry in the region. If you don’t know this to that extent, businesspeople will struggle. Because your faith is not being put into practice, you’ll just work hard and then die.
“I need to completely break down the culture of idolatry here, because not only me, but the continuous generations after me must save this region.” That kind of church building, and I run my business with faith in that covenant. That is where God gives His answers from the throne of heaven.

Message Prayer
Today, when we pray, there are the prayers that receive answers and those that do not. The prayers that receive answers are not when I pray for what I want, but when I pray for God’s Word. Let us hold onto the Word we have received and pray together.
Offering Prayer and Newcomer Prayer
God, we thank You. We believe You will give us the works of our faith as we have put into practice the accurate knowledge and faith of who we believe in, the Christ. Allow us to change the fundamental principle of our lives to establish the Kingdom of God and break down the forces of darkness in your accurate faith. We pray the offering we have given today will be used for temple construction, the future generations, and missions and evangelism. We pray that by faith in our offering, You will give us the blessings of the economy of light to do missions. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
