I Drink and Proclaim the Eternal Living Water (Jn. 4:1-26)
Let us bless and greet one another, “Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.” And I hope that this grace will be upon the Yakima Regional Church, as well as the Seattle Regional Church that is beginning today. The title of today’s message is, “I Drink and Proclaim the Eternal Living Water.” This living water is talking about the spiritual living water. Are there any of you who believe you are still trapped or stuck in your past? Are there any of you who are wondering, “Why does my family and my family line continue to suffer this way?” Or, are there any of you who believe you are still stuck in the scars and suffering, the traumas and failures of your past? Or, anyone who believes, “I’m looking for something in life, but I haven’t found it yet”? If you find what the Bible is truly trying to tell you today, then all of the problems of your past, present, and future will all be solved.
Is there a way for that to happen? Yes, there is. Simply put, I must change myself. This problem has come to me, so if I change myself, it will no longer be a problem. If you change Christ to be your Master and Lord, then He will lead your life forward. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Creator of the universe, and all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden within Him.
1. Samaria
In today’s scripture, Jesus Christ goes into the region of Samaria where Jewish people would never, ever go, in order to save this woman.
1) History
(1) A city located between Israel to the north and Judah to the south (Jn. 4:4)
(2) Assyrian Invasion (BC722) – City forced to migrate
(3) Mixed race and Gentile religion (Ac. 8:4-11, Jn. 4:9)
The region of Samaria is filled with people who are not fully of Jewish descent, but they have mixed genealogy or blood with Gentiles, the Assyrians, and they are not only worshiping the religion of the Jewish people, but they have also mixed their religion with the Gentile idols. In 722 BC, meaning 722 years before Jesus Christ was born, the superpower of Assyria invaded the land of Samaria, sold off all of the Samaritan men, and mixed their blood with the Assyrian men and the Samaritan women.
So, from the perspective of the Jewish people who had a pure bloodline, they did not talk to or associate with the Samaritans at all. However, Jesus goes to the region of Samaria, where other Jews would never go. If Jesus Christ is within us through the Holy Spirit, He will lead us to places we do not want to go. From my perspective, this person may have a different culture from me, or may be at a completely different level from me, but the Lord leads me in that direction.
2) Town of Sychar (Jn. 4:5)
(1) Jesus – Sat down by the well (Jn. 4:6)
(2) Woman – Came to draw water – About noon (Jn. 4:6)
He went to this area called Sychar, and went around noon, which is the hottest time, and sat down by the well, and as He was waiting there, there was a woman who came to draw water from the well. If it is to the point where this woman would come to draw water at noon, the hottest time of the day, in order to avoid interacting with all the other people in the area, then she is under very severe personal suffering or she is exiled from the people.
(3) Jesus – Will you give me a drink? (Jn. 4:7)
Because the well is very deep, Jesus asks this woman to draw water. The woman asks, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman, how could you ask me for a drink?” for the Jews did not associate with the Samaritans.
3) Conversation between Jesus and the woman (Jn. 4:10-11)
(1) If you knew the gift of God, Who it is that asks you for a drink
(2) You would have asked and received living water (Is. 44:3)
Then Jesus answers her, “If you knew the gift of God, and Who it is that asks you for a drink, He would have given you the living water.”
(3) Where to get this living water – Physical thoughts
The woman is saying, “You have nothing to draw water with, how could you give me living water?” This woman is in a state where she cannot understand spiritual words yet. The church and the Bible do not exist to teach us about physical things; those things, we can learn from school, but this is the place that teaches about the spiritual things, the most important things that the schools cannot teach you. So, when we come to church, we must receive the spiritual words in order for our spiritual and mental problems to be healed.
2. Jesus Christ
1) Water that will never make you thirst (Jn. 4:14)
Jesus is saying, “I will give you spiritual water so you will not be spiritually thirsty.” For people who are drinking this water, they have already come to the conclusion and answer to the problems of their past, present, and future. If you haven’t resolved the scars, the trauma, and the failures of your past, then it’s evidence you are not drinking this living water; and if you drink this living water, you can see your future and you can also see the present. So, once you drink this living water, the past, present, and future will not be a problem at all. That is what Jesus says He will give you.
Jesus is saying, “You don’t even know Who I am, that’s why you’re not asking me for it.” This Jesus Christ is the Living Water Who makes us never thirst again. In the summer, when you get physically thirsty, you drink water. What happens when you cannot drink water? There are these very strange side effects that happen, and it’s the same spiritually. Spiritually if you’re not able to drink the living water of Jesus Christ, you will also have these different difficult side effects.
The first thing that happens is fear; for some reason, you cannot be at peace, so you keep on trying so hard to get rid of your inner fear, and you keep on going forward physically, thinking you can overcome your fear if you have enough money or success. In John 3, we read about Nicodemus who was the most successful man, physically speaking, but he was still spiritually thirsty. We humans are spiritual beings so we must continuously be wet with the spiritual Living Water, then you will come out of the scars and the traumas of your past. And, the mental problems and suffering you are going through right now will be resolved, and your fear of death or your fear of the future will start to go away.
(1) Spring of water welling up to eternal life (Jn. 4:14)
I’m giving you this personal testimony as a Christian. I’m sure the thing you’re most afraid about is money, and you will be released from that. You were once dragged by money, but you will rule over money. The person who has established that must succeed. However, if someone has not established that, and they are trying to make money to try to quench their spiritual thirst, and then they make money, it will be a large problem because you will continuously be spiritually thirsty and there’s nothing that can quench that. The older you get, the more that actually comes externally as a mental problem. Then, the repetitive problems of your family line will repeat in you. You need to finish that. You cannot finish that just by going to church. You need to continuously drink this living, spiritual water, then your thirst will go away. If your thirst goes away, then healing arises.
Jesus went to Samaria on purpose, specifically thinking about this one woman, but the disciples did not want to go there. So, how will you receive the guidance of God’s Holy Spirit? You must not go the way you want to go; you need to go in the direction the Lord leads you, then all answers will be there. If there are any of you who are saying, “Even if I pray, I don’t receive answers,” it’s because you’re not aligned with God. It’s because even your prayers are incorrect. If you pray the prayer that God desires, then anybody can receive answers, then step by step, you will receive answers, so it’s not that you’re not receiving answers, but you’re not aligned with God. We have to align ourselves to God. If God aligns Himself with us, that wouldn’t be God. For the people who have aligned themselves with God, without a doubt, they are receiving answers today.
(2) Rivers of living water – Holy Spirit (Jn 7:38-39)
It says in John 7:38, that, whoever believes in Me, rivers of living water will flow from within them. So, in other words, this living water will flow like a river from Jesus Christ, and Jn. 7:39 says it is talking about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ will continuously give this living water, flowing within me. To drink the living water means you are continuously, spiritually communicating with Him through prayer. While you are praying, you must study and work in order for you to not be spiritually thirsty. So, if you are lacking spiritually, it is because you are not drinking the water. If you have water, you should drink it. The living water of Jesus Christ is inside of me, then you should drink it through prayer, and if you receive His guidance, then you would be satisfied. If you are completely filled with this power, then you would no longer be thirsty, and one day, you will realize that your problems are no longer problems because you are spiritually full.
(3) Woman – Give me so that I won’t have to come here to draw water (Jn. 4:15)
Then this woman says, “If this water exists, give it to me,” and she responds physically again, “So that I no longer have to come here to draw water.”
(4) Husband – 5, no husband right now (Jn. 4:17-18)
Then the Lord changes the subject suddenly, saying, “Call your husband.” Jesus first opened the heart of the Samaritan woman and then touched her innermost part. She says, “I don’t have a husband,” because she’s had five ex-husbands and is living with someone else right now. Because Jesus knew this about her already, she’s shocked, saying, “How do You know all of this about me? I can see that You are a Prophet.”
2) Worship (Jn. 4:20-23)
(1) Samaritans – Worship what they don’t know – Mount Gerizim
(2) Jews – Worship what they do know – Jerusalem
Then immediately, she starts talking by herself about worship. She says, “We worship on this mountain, but you Jews claim we have to worship in Jerusalem, so what’s going on?”
(3) Worship the Father – When you worship in the Spirit and in truth
Then Jesus responds that, there is coming a time when you will worship the Father, neither here nor there. There will be a time where there will be true worship that worships the Father in Spirit and in Truth. The region of Samaria is filled with Gentiles, so they’re worshiping without even knowing whom they’re worshiping. At least the people who are worshiping in the Temple of Jerusalem know they are worshiping God, but Jesus is saying, “It is not about being here or there; now, we will go beyond the Age of the Temple, and now a time will come when we worship in Spirit and in Truth.”
3) Now (Jn. 4:23)
(1) God is Spirit, worship in the Spirit and in truth (Jn. 4:24)
When is the time to worship in Spirit and in Truth? It is right now. What the Samaritan woman is doing to Jesus is worshiping Him, right now. That’s because Jesus is giving His Word to this woman in Spirit, and that woman is listening to that Word. That is worship. What is worship? Think about the sermon from the pastor as just a tool, but the Holy Spirit is the One Who is giving the work that God desires to you. There are some people who say that “The pastor teaches me,” but those words might be right or they might be wrong. Yes, it is true that you can get confirmation from the pastor about whether your understanding is biblical or not, because you can say you received the Word of God however you interpreted it, but what is the accurate meaning of worship? It is that the Holy Spirit of God is revealing His Word to you. That is worship.
What happens if we fail in worship? You will be spiritually thirsty. Because of your spiritual thirst, you will suffer and not know the reason why, because first, you cannot interpret your present reality. For some reason, you’re anxious. When that continues or persists, it will be revealed externally through mental problems. People try many different things to solve that, they try to cover themselves with money or they think they can hide themselves if they go to a high enough position. But that problem will never be solved without drinking the living water of Jesus Christ.
As soon as Adam and Eve left God’s Word, they were filled with shame and fear. So, they began to hide and avoid God, avoiding worship. In order to try to hide their shame, they covered themselves with leaves. Before that, they were in the nude but they were not ashamed because they were with God; they didn’t have any fear at all. However, even right now, people are trying to cover their inner fear by making a lot of money or by having a lot of skill or by wearing nice clothes. The Samaritan woman kept trying to hide her problem by having a lot of men, but even if you have one, two, five husbands, it won’t work. Even after having five divorces, it was so hard, so she said, “Let’s not get married, let’s just live together,” and this was her sixth man.
Back in the biblical times, if a woman did not have a man, they would starve to death, so they had no choice but to rely on men. But what about you and me? What is it that you rely on? Is it yourself? If you rely on yourself, you will face a fate like mine, you will face the limitations of your life. You are bound to face the hard limitations of your spirit, mind, and body. Are any students relying on your studies? Later on you’ll realize that you shouldn’t rely on your studies. You are only using studying as a tool to glorify God. The characteristic of people who go deep into their studies without drinking the living water of Jesus Christ, is that they will have mental problems. That’s why anybody who has this genius or prodigy “natural talent” will go crazy, and that’s the case in every area.
If you are extraordinary without drinking the living water of Jesus Christ, you cannot be normal. Hitler was not normal. Yes, he did succeed and he did get power, but because he was not spiritually sound, he created all of these disasters. When he was younger, his mother was raped by a Jewish person, and Hitler saw that. That scar was never healed, so when Hitler became older, he began to attack the Jews as well as many other demographics. He was actually the greatest power in all of Germany at the time. He was very powerful and skilled, he started from nothing and made his way there. He did so many good things for Germany, he laid roads for the Volkswagens, but because the scars inside of him were not healed, he was used to kill many people. It doesn’t matter how skilled you may be; if you do not have the living water of Jesus Christ inside your spirit, you cannot control yourself. I hope that every single person here, without exception, will be quenched by drinking the living water of Christ. I hope that every single day, you ask to be filled with this Holy Spirit.
(2) They are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks (Jn. 4:23)
It says in this verse, God is seeking worshipers who worship in Spirit and in Truth. God’s interest is in finding those who worship in Spirit and in Truth, and God pours out His power upon those people because they are serving God. We call this word, “worship” or “service,” do you know what the word, “serve” means? It is the servant asking their Master, “Please give me Your Word. As soon as you give me your command, I will follow it.” That’s worship. There are four parts to worship, three of those things I give to the Lord, and that doesn’t mean He’s taking things from us; it means God delights in these things. You know like, when a child is always making their dad so happy, the child just gets things. On Father’s Day, my daughter gave me chocolates and a necktie. Then a few hours later, she said, “My birthday is in July, can you give me my present in advance?” I think men and women are different, because women say things that men cannot understand. “What is it?” So of course I went to buy it for her immediately because she knows how to get to me. God is looking for people who are worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth.
When we worship, we praise God, we give our praise to God. When we give our praise to God, God receives the glory so He loves it. If you’re just singing, that’s for your mood and for yourself, but if you are praising, that is glory to God. If you just sing songs, you will be seized by evil spirits because Satan, the devil, actually used to be an angel of praise who became corrupted. So we sing our songs to make ourselves feel better. The more you go into being centered on yourself, the more you will be possessed by evil spirits and your life will be dragged according to the lyrics that you sing. But instead, we sing our praises and give our glory to God.
Second, we give our prayers to God because only He can answer my prayers. This means we recognize, “I am lacking, so Lord, please answer my prayers,” this means you are acknowledging God as God. Third, we give our offering to God. Do you think God doesn’t have money? God is the One Who can make us weak or strong. You might think that you’re working with your diligence, but that’s not the case. Regardless of whether you’re a believer or nonbeliever, there are things you accomplish with your hard work. Even if somebody doesn’t believe in God, if they work hard, they can make money; however, there are things God gives you. God has prepared a separate fund in order to fulfill His will and His plan, and that’s offering. When God knows, “If I give this person money, they will continue to use it for God’s Kingdom, then I will continue to give them money,” so if God is not giving you money, it’s because He knows that even if He does give you money, you will not use it for God, you will use it for yourself, then God just lets this person live with their own hard work, maintaining themselves.
There are some people who ask me, “Do we still have to give tithe? I heard a pastor say we don’t have to,” and inside, I laugh at that. I am the first believer in my family line, and as soon as I believed in Jesus Christ, I was only a student, but I started giving tithe because that is how I was taught. Later on, I realized that the meaning behind that is tremendous because I received everything from God, every single thing I possess has come from God, and you give one portion of that back to God. That offering is used to raise the church, to raise people, and to save people. As I kept on doing that, money is so accurate because it’s quantitative. When we talk about grace or love, that’s qualitative; you cannot count that. But because money is quantitative, you can measure it very accurately. For people who went to church with their mom and dad ever since they were young, and they graduated high school and went to seminary school, they don’t know this. They’ve never once experienced how powerfully money is controlling the world. They’ve never once experienced how God works through money.
Just for you to know, when I was called by God as a pastor, I wanted to test God saying, “Well in the Bible, it said You gave manna from the sky, and I want to see if You still do this.” And everyone who knew me back then knows this. I was back in Korea at the time; people in America and in Korea both know this. God is very accurate. I wanted to see God really working through material things. I had absolutely nothing but I wanted to give missions offering and tithe. God received my heart and began to work. Money is so accurate, so if you are financially strapped or financially struggling, it’s because, with regards to money, there’s something not right with your relationship with God. This isn’t talking about money right now, it’s talking about your faith in God. Once you establish this, you will have freedom from money. Otherwise, as long as you have a physical body on this earth, you will never be free from money. I’m not limited by money. “I guess, pastor, you have a lot of money, then?” No, I don’t, every day I’m in the negatives. It doesn’t matter, because if i don’t have money, I don’t have to eat, and if I die of starvation, I’ll just die. If God gives me money, then I give it to God for world evangelization, then I’m free. “Oh pastor, you’re just saying that because you’re a pastor,” but you’re the same; a child of God is the same, and our Father is the same. I hope you will stop struggling financially and restore your faith to God.
We give those three things to God and we receive one thing from God; through His grace, we receive His Word. What is victory in worship? It is the Word of God coming to me. I’m not talking about what you understand with your knowledge; that’s just your understanding, but with the Holy Spirit, the Word the Holy Spirit gives to your heart, and you meditate on that Word day and night, all throughout the week. Because God is working and moving everything in the direction of fulfilling His Word. Life does not work in the direction you desire; everything moves in the direction to fulfill God’s Word.
John 1:1 says the Word is God, and Heb. 4:12 says that, when the Word of God comes into us, then all of our incorrect and diseased thoughts will be healed. The Bible tells us that when we meditate on the word of God day and night, then in God’s time schedule, we bear fruit. People who don’t do that are sitting in the seat of mockers, they are arrogant, because if you say, “I’m just going to live my life regardless of God’s Word,” that is arrogance, and when that person faces a problem, they will shake because they follow their thoughts, and if they cannot solve something with their own thoughts, they will shake, and they will always be shaking. Ultimately, Psalm 1:6 says that their destiny is destruction.
So, worship is the beginning of your life. Success in worship is success in life. When you think of the word, “success,” you think about making a lot of money or getting highly promoted, but that’s not the kind of prosperity that God gives. Everything that happens according to God’s Word as you follow God’s Word, that is prosperity, and that can never be stolen from you by the devil. But whatever you’ve accomplished with your own strength, if you lack spiritual strength, it will all crumble. Even if you still have the physical things you’ve accomplished, your inner self will be destroyed. You fall because you don’t have the spiritual strength of the living water. That’s the reason successful people do drugs, that’s because even though they have a lot of money, they don’t have spiritual strength. That is why God is seeking those who truly worship in Spirit and in Truth. Then, yes, we are all worshiping here, but even if you go out into the world and the field, you can worship God in Spirit and in Truth there. When you worship, God moves His heavenly angels and hosts, and because God establishes His Kingdom there, all the evil spirits and forces of darkness fall.
(3) Messiah, Christ – Explain everything to us (Jn. 4:25)
(4) I am He (Jn. 4:26)
Then, the woman explains what she has heard, saying, “I know that the Messiah is coming, and when He does, He will explain everything to us,” and Jesus says, “That time is now.” You need to know this region of Samaria and the reason why the things that are happening are happening.
3. World
1) Places that need the eternal living water
(1) Religious Nicodemus – Desperation of the successful (Jn. 3:1-2)
(2) Samaria – Sorcery – Evil spirits, sick (Ac. 8:7-10)
In Acts 8, it says that the region of Samaria had many people who are diseased because they were filled with evil spirits, and so, because of all of those diseases that were brought about by evil spirits, there was a very large presence of sorcery to drive out evil spirits with more evil spirits. This is something that is invisible to the eyes. What does this mean? It means that the physical things happen because of the spiritual things. Depending on the spiritual state of your family line, as well as the region you’re living in, the physical things will result from them. So try researching your family line, and try researching the region where you live. You’ll find something in common. The physical things you see are a result of the spiritual things.
There was a place in Korea where I was running my ministry, and there was a region that was creating something. It was a region where hundreds of years ago, there was an oriental doctor who was healing people there, and even though there were so many patients in that region hundreds of years ago, there are still so many patients crowding that region now. This means that the people of that region are still getting the spiritual influence of that region. There are some regions that are filled with only poor people. Strangely enough, whenever there are areas that have a lot of shamans, there are also a lot of liquor stores or bars, it’s because there’s a spiritual connection there. People do not gather for no reason; they gather following their spiritual state. The people you’re close with, you’re not just close with them for no reason; it is because there is a spiritual closeness, and the reason your family might be so close is not just for physical reasons, but also spiritual. I’m not very close with my family because they’re so different than I am, spiritually. That’s the reaction from my family that is not Christian, and me with spiritual restoration. I used to be so close with my friends, but now when I go back to Korea, we just don’t get along. Yes, we do get along with the memories in our past, but spiritually, we are not aligned. The spiritual state of your family line and the spiritual state of the region where you live are mixing together, resulting in the physical things you see. So, this Samaritan woman who had five ex-husbands and is living with a man right now, did not happen for no reason.
(3) Samaritan woman – Desperate, gullible (2 Tim. 3:6)
2 Tim. 3:6 says, these kinds of men worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women who are loaded down by sins and swayed by all kinds of evil desires. This woman does not have five ex-husbands and a sixth for no reason; she is moving because of her spiritual thirst as well as her desires. That’s the same reason people continue to get dragged around by alcohol, drugs, and substances, and it’s the same reason people are dragged around by success. Success is not the right thing, then what is the right thing? Christ is the right thing. As you go within Christ, success should come as an answer. That’s true success. That success cannot be stolen away by anybody. Everything, success, money, must come from inside of Christ. As you’re following the grace of the Word of Christ within Christ, that is success; that is true success. Everything else comes from your self-centeredness, and I hope no one will be like that.
2) My Samaria – Place to relay the eternal living water
(1) Place where your relationship with others has been cut off
(2) Place that has a different culture (Mt. 12:43-45)
(3) God’s kingdom is established – Drive out evil spirits (Mt. 12:28)
Then, where is “my Samaria”? God’s plan is in the person where, “I don’t even want to talk to them, they and I aren’t at the same level and we don’t have the same culture,” that is where God desires to proclaim the gospel. When you proclaim Christ there and God’s Kingdom is established, then evil spirits will be cast out.
3) My strength – Living water
In order for me to do that, I myself must continuously drink the living water of Jesus Christ.
(1) Only Jesus Christ – Life (Ac. 1:1, Jn. 14:6)
Everything must follow within only Jesus Christ. He is the creator, and He is God, so everything must come from Him. You shouldn’t even prioritize prayer over Christ. You shouldn’t prioritize your kind behavior over Christ. You shouldn’t prioritize getting blessings over Christ because everything else must follow inside of Christ. Even though people live their walk of faith for a very long time, the reason they are not receiving answers is because they are seeking things that come from their self-centeredness. Just because you believe in Jesus Christ does not mean you are inside of Christ; you need to follow His Word, then you will live with the answers the Lord will give you.
People who say words that are correct all the time, that’s not a walk of faith. If you are just going to say words that are correct, then why did Jesus have to die? Because even people who don’t believe in Jesus Christ can say words that are correct. While you believe in Jesus Christ, you must have the true discernment of what is right or wrong in order to save people. You shouldn’t prioritize volunteering or serving above Jesus, because as you do that, you will make yourself fall into trials. The true service is when you are serving God, coming from the strength and the grace that you get from only Christ. Your studies and work in the world, that becomes service because it is no longer for yourself; it is a method for you to serve the Lord. That’s why the person who studies and works while they are praying will have success.
Then, what is success? Prosperity? The prosperity that comes from being with God, no matter where you are, where you’re not bothered, even if you don’t have money. Even when you have wealth, you’re not bothered, or you’re not affected by it. You’re not a coward before people, you don’t kneel before your environment or circumstances. You are not ensnared or suffering because of the problems of your past. You are not affected even in the face of death. That’s prosperity. What is prosperity? Do you think having a lot of money is prosperity? If you’re dragged around by money, why is that prosperity? Is success prosperity even if you’re a slave, dragged around by success, and you have to live like a coward in front of people in order to remain successful? That’s not prosperity; that’s being a slave. “Prosperity” means that, because I’m with the Lord, nothing matters to me. If I face death, then I can die. If there’s a reason for me to be poor, then I can be poor. If I have a disease, then I stay concentrated on the Lord. That is prosperity. The devil can never block that. God wants to give you this blessing and wants you to drink that living water every day.
(2) Only God’s kingdom – Mission (Ac. 1:3)
And now the Kingdom of God is the direction and the mission with which I live my life. The reason God saved me is to save other people through me. People who are not receiving answers, it’s because you’re not interested in saving people but you’re only interested in yourself physically. Why did Jesus come to earth? It was to save us; Jesus didn’t come to earth to give us money, Jesus didn’t come to earth to teach us knowledge, Jesus didn’t come to this earth to teach us the secrets of business, but He came to save us, and what is He doing inside of us? He is doing the work of saving others, and if I am inside that work, then answers will come continuously. Even if you don’t pray, you will receive answers because God’s absolute plan is salvation. God came to earth as a human to save us, that’s the extent to which God’s plan is to save people.
(3) Only Holy Spirit – Authority – Witness (Ac. 1:8)
It’s impossible by our own strength, so He promises the power of only the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, and that Spirit must be completely filling my thoughts, my heart, my spirit, and my body. In order to do that, you must let go of your thoughts. Trying to get rid of your thoughts is meditation, but if you empty yourself, you will be filled with seven more demons. So, Buddhists will stare at a blank wall, they won’t even go outside, and they’ll try to empty themselves like that. But actually, the more you do that, the more you will be stuck in your own thoughts, like a snake eating its own tail. What you actually have to do is realize that your thoughts are valueless and let them down so that the Holy Spirit will completely fill your thoughts in faith. Then, the works of being a witness of God to the ends of the earth will take place.
When I pray, that’s what I pray for, because inside of that plan, everything else will follow. My spiritual strength, wisdom, physical strength, people, money, everything. You’re not even that smart, why are you trying to use your brain so much? It’s not going to work. If you just go into God’s absolute plan so that God’s power comes upon you, then wisdom will follow.
Conclusion
1. Everyday – 3 Concentrations
Every morning when you wake up in the early morning, and for people who can’t wake up early in the morning, as soon as you wake up, concentrate on God’s Word. I want you to diagnose yourself right now, if you’re not able to wake up and concentrate on God’s Word immediately, it means your thoughts are obsessed with something else. When you wake up in the morning, you concentrate and you pray, meditating on the Word you received for that week. Then, you go out into your field, your school, or your work, with that Word in prayer, and all the answers will come from there. So, the Word of God is moving and will change all of your environment. Even the president will do that, they will change everything to enact their policies. God is the same. God will change the environment and the people and everything, centered on the person who does not follow the words of other people but follows the Word of God.
2. 300% Specialty – Save me, field, church
Especially businesspeople, professionals, and students, listen very well, whatever work you are doing right now, you must be 300% specialized. If you just give 100% so you can barely make a living and survive, that’s not going to work. You must be specialized in your job to the point where you can save the field. Your specialization and your job must save the church. If you don’t have these three levels of specialization, you’re barely going to make a living and then die. When God gave us our talent and our specialization, He gave it to us to save the world and to save the church, that’s why your business must be used to save. You must save the church. That is how you can do Temple Construction to raise the next generation and world missions. In order to do that work, God has prepared 300% specialization for you.
3. One nation, people – Mission
Especially for our students, listen very carefully. If you set yourself at 100%, you are going to have a hard time even making a living. But you must pray for God to give you the 300% specialization that can not only save yourself but also save the world and save the church. That’s how the work of proclaiming the gospel to the ends of the earth will take place. May you and I have victory throughout the week.
