Fulfilling God’s Will and Work is my Food (Jn. 4:27-42)

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God

Fulfilling God’s Will and Work is my Food (Jn. 4:27-42)

Speaker Pastor Dusun Park | Interpreter Tiffany Han

Let us bless and greet one another, “Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.” May you remain within the unprecedented and never-repeated answers today.  The title of today’s message is, “Fulfilling God’s Will and Work is my Food.” The Word is telling us that the food with which we can survive is doing and fulfilling the will of God.  Last week, we went to the Navajo mission camp, which was the field where the Word we received last week of Drinking and Proclaiming the Eternal Living Water was fulfilled, and I hope that through today’s Word, you will all have the blessing of discovering that everything is contained within one thing.  If you lose hold of that one thing, then everything will come to us as a heavy burden.  That one thing is what we call, “only.”  It’s not just, “only,” but that “only” must really be established inside of me.

1. Evangelism in the region of Samaria

  1) Leaving her water jar (Jn. 4:28)

Jesus Christ met the woman in Samaria and proclaimed His Word to her.  It says that after this woman met the Messiah, she left her water jar behind and ran into town.  Water is extremely important; if our bodies lack physical water, we could die, but she left her water jar behind and ran into town.  When we truly meet Jesus Christ, these are the things that happen.

    (1) My precious worth

    (2) Priority of my life

    (3) Pattern of life

The water jar represents the greatest value in her life, and my number one priority is that I need to keep drinking this water.  That’s actually become the pattern of our whole life, in other words, the pattern of my life is just eating and drinking because if we don’t eat and make a living, then our physical body dies.  But after this Samaritan woman meets Jesus Christ, she throws all that away and runs into town.  In other words, when you truly meet Jesus Christ, the priority of your life is bound to change. If that shift does not happen, then it’s possible that you have not received salvation yet.  Or, you did believe in Jesus Christ, but then you revert back to your old ways after that.  I think there might be a lot of people who revert back to their old ways, and the reason is because when I met Jesus Christ, the true value and priority of my life did change, but there are things that are deeply inside of me, lying dormant, and those things are moving me.

  2) Went back to the town (Jn. 4:28)

    (1) Overcome the barrier of human relations

This Samaritan woman had five husbands, and the man she was living with now was not her husband, meaning she had gone through a lot of judgment and criticism from people.  Five times, she thought the answer to her life would be that man, so she got married five times, but all she was left with were scars.  Also, she placed her faith in this man she is living with now, but she’s also in a state of giving up.  Because we put our hope or trust in something else, we get scarred by it, and the reason we get scarred is because we place our hope or our faith in something else. If you place your hope or expectation upon your child, then you will be scarred by your child. If you place your hope or expectation upon your spouse, then you will be scarred by your spouse, and if you put your hope or expectation in yourself, you’ll be scarred by yourself.  This turns into depression and makes it so that you can no longer have human relationships.

    (2) Overcome scars, avoidance of interpersonal relationships, depression

Why do you have depression? You have depression because you love your own emotions too much. It’s what happens when you love your own emotions more than you love God.   2 Timothy 3:1-2 says that people who love themselves more than God will suffer.  People who love money more than they love God will suffer because of money.  People who prioritize personality above God will suffer because of personalities. If we prioritize success above God, then we will suffer continuously because of success. This Samaritan woman thought the answer to her life was in a man, and so she married five times.  There are some people who think that the answer to their life is in success, so they’re racing in that direction even now.  So, the way they suffer mentally as a result is the same way the Samaritan woman suffered.

But when this Samaritan woman met the Christ, she overcame that.  In the past, she used to live centered on herself, loving herself, but after she met Christ, that priority changed.  “Oh, I can take my life on this one Being, Christ,” and whatever she was holding onto, she was able to let go of it, and finally her scars were no longer a scar.  The depression was no longer depression.  When we entrust our lives to Christ as our Lord.  Depending on how much you entrust your life to your Lord, your mental state will change.  This other person is not causing you problems; the things hidden inside of you are just being revealed.  The problem for the Samaritan woman was not all of these different men; it was something inside of her that she could not resolve that resulted in all of those men.

    (3) Come, see – Proclaim the word (Jn. 4:29)

She ran into the town and what she said was, “Come and see. She was a woman who could never talk to people, she was avoiding people and was deep in her depression and problems, but now she goes to speak to them. There are some students who graduate from Ivy League universities, but they are not able to adjust to society.  Physically, they have been very well prepared, but because they lack spiritual strength, they are just trapped in their home.  I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing just to be stuck in your own home, but it’s because they lack the spiritual and mental strength.  If you study really diligently without spiritual strength, that will be your end result, because if you don’t have spiritual strength, and one day, your spiritual battery depletes, then all of these hidden things inside of you will be revealed.  Just like when you get older and your muscles lose their strength, you’ll have problems in your bones and your joints. If your spiritual muscle becomes weakened and you don’t have spiritual strength, your internal problems will be revealed. From that point on, your heart, your thoughts, your mind, and your emotions will suffer as a result.

  3) Disciples urged him to eat (Jn. 4:31)

On one hand, there is this woman who goes into town and evangelizes of the Christ, and now it is noontime, so the disciples come back with food for Jesus to eat.

    (1) I have food to eat that you know nothing about (Jn. 4:32)

In Jn. 4:32, Jesus tells His disciples, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”  The disciples were thinking very physically; they were thinking, “Could someone else have brought and delivered Him lunch while we were gone?”  For the people who are listening today, when you understand what it means that we have another food you know nothing about, then your life will change. What is that food?

    (2) Do the will of him who sent me (Jn. 4:34, 6:40)

In Jn. 4:34, Jesus says, “My food is to do the will of Him Who sent me and to finish His work.”  For the people here who are stuck in their physical senses, it’s very normal for you to wonder, “What does that mean? If you are living without physical food, how could you have food?”  John 6:40 says, “My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life.”

    (3) To finish his work (Jn. 4:34, 6:29)

And in Jn. 6:29, Jesus says this, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.”  So, what is this food that no one knows about that Jesus Christ is talking about? It is proclaiming the gospel.  How is it that proclaiming the gospel can become our food?  But the moment you agree with those words, the moment the world will no longer be a burden and you will have nothing to be afraid of.  But if you’re wondering, “What does it mean that proclaiming the gospel is my food?” then the world will always be very difficult for you.

2. God’s food

  1) Food that does not spoil (Is. 55:2-3)

How could we live without eating food? That’s not what He is saying; even though we eat physical food there is something that is of high priority.  In other words, there is a food that will not spoil or rot.  The physical food is temporary and it will spoil.

    (1) Listen (Is. 55:2)

    (2) That you may live (Is. 55:3)

We need to eat the food that will not spoil or rot away, and Isaiah 55:2 says, “Listen, listen to me.”  The food that will not rot away is when you come and listen to the Word of God; then your soul will be saved.

    (3) Made him a ruler and commander of the peoples (Is. 55:4)

Then He will make you into a witness to all peoples, a leader and a commander for the peoples.  Come to worship and listen to the Words of Jesus, then your soul may live.  And then, He will raise you as a witness to many peoples. ”I will raise you as a leader of the peoples,” this is an eternal food that will never spoil.  That means, Jesus Christ Himself is eating the food that will never rot and He is proclaiming that Word, “The food that will never rot,” and we, too, must eat the food that God gives to us and relay it, then we will not be hungry. Does that mean we don’t have to eat meals?  Yes, Jesus did fast for 40 days and He didn’t even drink water; how did He endure that? It is because He was continuously eating this food that would not rot.

Moses did the 40-day fasting prayer twice, so none of that matters. I’m not telling you to stop eating; I’m saying there is something we prioritize. There is something you must prioritize to eat first. The food that will rot may maintain our physical body, but the food that will never rot will give us eternal spiritual life.

  2) Food that spoils (Jn. 6:27)

That’s why Jn. 6:27 says, “Do not work for food that spoils,” don’t just work so that you can eat three meals a day. “If I don’t work, then how could I eat because I don’t have any money?” If there are any of you like that, you will continue to suffer because just like the disciples, you were not able to understand God’s Word.  During this time, they were not confessing that Jesus is the Christ.  They were calling Him “Rabbi.” And even though at this point, they are less than human, Jesus is actually leading His disciples and training them.

    (1) Labor on what does not satisfy (Is. 55:2)

    (2) Spend money on what is not bread (Is. 55:2)

Isaiah 55:2 says this about the food that spoils,” Why do you labor on food that doesn’t satisfy? Why are you working and spending your  money on what is not bread?” That is not real food. Your food is the invisible food of life. Why are you working just so that you can eat and make a living? We must work for that which does not spoil, and if you look at the words of Jesus and the reactions of the disciples, they are not aligned; and that’s why they are not receiving the biblical answers. If you have this food that does not spoil, then the blessing of God that saves this world will take place.  Again, I’m not telling you that eating food is wrong; I’m saying that the priority of your life is incorrect.

Let’s say, ever since you were young, you were educated as an elite and you accomplished success, but you were only working diligently for the food that will spoil. But your spirit has no strength, then the only thing that person can do is drugs. And in my experience, the only thing that person can do is drink every day because already, they’re burnt out, and there’s nothing more they can do with their strength, so they rely on alcohol. They already have mental problems. If someone is doing drugs and continues in that way, they already have mental problems. Even since long ago, there was a US President who was doing things that he shouldn’t have been doing with a worker in the White House, and if that’s the state of America’s highest leader, then already, America is done for.  But the way Satan controls America is by making America follow the food that will spoil, so the nation is physically so strong, but completely beggars in the spiritual sense.  In the future, there will be more and more people with mental illnesses and homelessness, but even right now, the churches are praying for the food that will spoil and they are not aligned with God at all. No matter how much they pray like that, they won’t receive answers. There is a way to receive answers immediately. If you pray for that which God desires, then you will receive answers immediately. If we are normal Christians, then it is normal for us to receive answers continuously and every day.

    (3) Disciples’ priority (Jn. 4:27, 33)

But the disciples were prioritizing the physical food.  The reason Jesus Christ went into the land of Samaria where the Jewish people never associated with, was to proclaim this gospel to this woman, but the disciples have no interest in that, so when Jesus was talking about their spiritual food, the disciples could not understand at all. When you study and work in the world, it might help a little bit to understand the physical world, but if the Word of God does not go into you, you cannot understand the spiritual world. There are some people who eat three meals a day and there are some people who are on a diet and they only eat one meal a day.  My daughter is trying to diet right now, and I said , “You need to eat what you should eat when you diet. Because you’re so skinny already, you’re only gonna be skin and bones if you diet.”  I just said, “Diet while you eat three meals a day.”

  3) Time of harvest

    (1) Open your eyes and look at the fields (Jn. 4:35)

    (2) The sower and reaper may be glad together (Jn. 4:36)

    (3) Reap what you have not worked for (Jn. 4:39)

I hope that every day, you will eat this eternal food that will never spoil. It’s true, you will be liberated from your scars, and you will overcome the troubles that you have with your human relationships.  Nothing else is the problem; the real problem is coming from inside of me, the lack of spiritual strength.  It’s true. If you succeed without spiritual strength, it will be so difficult. I have only one daughter in my family, and the only thing I can do for her is to pray for her everyday. And yes, it might be good for her to go to a good college according to her ability, but there is something more important. She has to be somebody who has spiritual strength to save America.  If you’re not able to be somebody who saves people, then you will be a slave to the world.  There are some people who come to church because they’re so afflicted with their financial problems.  There are times because people suffer because of human relationships. Or there are people who come to church because they are suffering mentally, like with depression. You must change yourself. “How can I change myself?” You need to change Christ to be your Lord.  Then you will stake your life on the Lord. If you entrust your life to the Lord, you must entrust your entire life to the Lord, not just one portion. That is what it means to believe in Jesus the Christ as your Lord.

Your human relationships you must entrust to the Lord, then He will begin to work, because the Lord is the judge and He is the Lord of all Lords. You need to entrust your entire family to the Lord, stop clutching onto things that are not working out, and trying to imprint your ideologies into your children. Hold into God’s Word.  You think you know the mystery to success, which actually isn’t success at all.  Instead of teaching that, teach God’s Word to your children.  Ever since David was little, he was gaining spiritual strength and he was developing his skill. In today’s Word, that means he was gaining spiritual strength through the Word of God and he was studying. As those kids grow up, they can really do the works.  When the nation was facing a crisis, all the successful people had no spiritual strength.  David alone stood before Goliath, because ever since David was very young, while he was studying, he experienced God working through him.  That is extremely important.

God is doing His work through me, then there is one condition. The Lord does His work through you when you entrust yourself completely to Him.  We call that faith. If somebody does not have that faith, then it doesn’t matter how much they go to church, because they will not see the works of God. Even shamans and fortune-tellers receive the possession of evil spirits, and if they begin to have their own thoughts, then the spirit departs. So if you’ve seen some shamanistic rituals, they have a lot of bells and play music and they completely immerse themselves with that, to get rid of their own thoughts.  So, there’s a lot of secular medication, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Secularism, and it’s all about getting rid of your own thoughts, or filling yourself with the universe, but it’s still you. If you don’t change the master of your life to Christ then the problems of your life cannot be resolved. The Samaritan woman completely entrusted her life to the Lord and claimed that Jesus Christ is her Lord. That’s how you escape from your depression, and from your fear, and from your scars, and from your worries about finances.  And you’ll escape from your problems with relationships. The reason you have so many problems is because you don’t have the skill or strength to overcome them.  But if you completely entrust it to the Lord, then the Lord will take care of it on His own.

3. Guide people to Jesus Christ

  1) Jesus Christ and God’s kingdom

    (1) Authority of Sin, Satan, Hell – Me (End) (Jn. 19:30)

The Bible promises that if someone curses the one who has the gospel, then God will punish them, because whatever they do to the one who has the gospel, they are doing to the Lord. You need to think of other members in the church as very precious because Christ is inside of them, and the way you treat the members of the church preciously is how you treat God. But if you are gossiping or criticizing or killing members of the church, then that is what you’re doing to Christ.  So it doesn’t matter how, in the worldly sense, weak or lacking the members of the church may be, because God is inside of them, and the person who is blessed will see those people are precious blessings and they can wait for them and pray for them. That is the church.  If you don’t know the church, then you don’t receive answers.  You personally may have received salvation still, but if you don’t know what the church is, God gives His answer through the church, so you will not see those answers. If you know tech, which is the body of Christ very well, then you will pray for the members of the church, and that is a blessing. If somebody sins, forgiving them and praying for them is actually forgiving myself.  But if you keep making them into your enemy, that is when evil spirits enter. That’s the work that the devil does. So everyone says they know the devil, but they don’t know how the devil works.  God brings together oneness. Because God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Son are One. But the devil will divide, because of their own assumptions.  But my assertions and opinions are not the word of God; that’s just my greed.

Gal. 5:16 says that all these problems come because of our sinful nature.  That is why we must stand before God and confess our sins.  If we’re not able to truly confess that, “I’ve been living according to the greed of my physical and sinful nature,” then we cannot fix it. And then the Lord says, “You say, ‘the harvest is four months away,’ but I say the harvest is ready now.” Because right now, the Samaritan woman went into the town to evangelize, and these people are ready to be harvested.  The way that Jesus describes evangelism is in Jn. 4:36, that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. The one who sowed was Jesus, and the one who reaps are the disciples, so we may be glad together.  If you proclaim the gospel and somebody accepts, that joy and happiness cannot be compared with any drug in the world. For the people who have actually experienced that, they cannot compare it to anything else in the world.  In Jn. 4:38, He says, “You will do what you have not worked for.” In other words, the Lord has already prepared everything, and He is just sending you out to harvest it. God has already prepared everything, all you have to do is collect it; it’s not our efforts.

Evangelism is the easiest thing.  If you think that evangelism is hard, then it’s because you don’t understand the evangelism God has prepared.  Your’e not going out and trying to plant your own seeds; you are waiting for God’s time schedule.  Because you don’t know when that time schedule will come, you are looking every day.  I used to be a nonbeliever, and I know that moment where I met Jesus Christ and changed. Even from before that moment I accepted Jesus Christ, God had been working upon me my whole life.  But the people who originally introduced the gospel to me, don’t know my later state at all.  The person who proclaimed the gospel to me didn’t know that I was already ready to accept Jesus and ready to receive salvation. But at that time, I was still trying to hide myself and my pride. I was very proud and didn’t want to be very led or follow someone else, so I just put up a front.  And the members of the  churches don’t know that, but God had already prepared me. You just have to give them one Word, because the Lord has already prepared them. If God has already prepared everything and you say that it’s hard, then you don’t understand evangelism correctly. If you’re told to go into Harvard University, that’s very hard, but anyone can evangelize, because God does the work in preparation.

It’s hard for a man to win over a woman, but if there is somebody whom God has prepared, then it’s easy.  There is a very big difference between trying to win over a girl and trying to make her into your wife, versus finding someone who God has prepared. If this is somebody whom God has really prepared, there’s no reason to do the most; you can just do it naturally. But if this is not somebody who God has prepared for you, then you’re trying to tempt them and lure them, and it’s very difficult.  I asked my wife before I got married, “Do you want to get married?” and she said, “We have to pray about it,” and I said, “What is there to pray about?” and she said, “Give me two or three months to pray,” and inside, I was feeling impatient but I said okay. And after about two months, I asked her if she had an answer, and she said she hadn’t. And I thought, “If I just leave her by herself, she’ll never make up her mind. I already got my answer, so let’s just get married.”  Because she was interpreting into Japanese in Japan at the time and she was so drunk on that mission, and she was so conflicted because she was interpreting inside the church and that’s the Lord’s work, so she thought, “Why should I throw away this work to get married?” But getting married is also a mission from God.  If it is truly your mission to translate the message into Japanese, God will allow you to do it and get married. So there’s another pastor who truly explained it to her. If I just left her alone, she would still be single today, and she would never have had our daughter. And that doesn’t matter; I’m telling you what is an answer. If somebody has really been prepared by the Lord, they just confirm that, there’s no need to lure them. This is what we must do.

When you go out to evangelize, you’re not trying to persuade or convince anyone.  If I’m aligned with God, if my business and evangelism are aligned with God, then there are people whom God has prepared to receive salvation. And then, if you try knocking once or twice, you can tell who God has prepared.  But if you don’t know this, you’re going to read all these books in the world like, “How to influence people,” and “How to have good relationships,” but what’s the point of that? You’re just trying to convince or persuade them, “I’ll give you my 50% and you give me your 50%.” But the way that God has prepared is different, and that is the preparation God has given to us. If you don’t understand evangelism, even your job will be hard.  Why is that?  Because our true food is to evangelize this gospel and save lives, but if you’re just going to work to eat and make a living, that’s why your job is so hard.  From the moment your priorities really change, your whole life will really change.  People are not what’s making your life hard; your incorrect priority inside is what’s making your life hard. Because you prioritize money over the Word of God, you suffer. It’s all love of yourself. Because you place your children over God’s Word. Guiding people to Jesus is our blessing.

In order for you to lead people to Jesus Christ, you must be set free from the background of sin, Satan, and hell.  What does the word, “Christ” mean?  The word Christ means, He is the way to be set free from sin, Satan, and Hell. If you don’t know Christ, then you don’t know Jesus.  You believe in Jesus because He is the Christ.  There are some people who know Jesus but they don’t know Christ, then there’s one characteristic of those people.  No matter how much they call on the name of Jesus, the demons don’t flee. That’s their characteristic.  In the book of Acts, there are many works of healing and miracles that take place when the name of Jesus is proclaimed. However, there are some people who tried to use the name of Jesus to cast out demons, “I know Jesus and Paul, but who are you?” and they completely beat up those men. There are many people in the world who may be named Joseph Biden, but it doesn’t matter how much you use the name of Joe Biden, nothing is going to happen.  But if you know Joe Biden, the president, and that’s how you use his name, then you can see the works of the president taking place.

Why is it that you believe in Jesus but you lack strength? When you believe in the name of Jesus the Christ, then the authority of sin, Satan, and hell are broken down.  But why is that not visible in your life? Why is it that you believe in Jesus, but evil spirits keep working on you? That person may know Jesus but they don’t know the Christ. Ever since Gen. 3:15, God did not promise to send us Jesus, God promised to send us the Christ.  That Christ, or the Messiah, and the one human, Jesus, who was born in Nazareth, was that Christ, or the Messiah. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection on the cross, He did the work of the Christ and solved all problems of our lives.  I was enslaved by sin, Satan, and hell, but I have been crucified with Christ. Now I have a new beginning where I live with Christ as my Lord in faith. If you’re not able to understand this gospel, you will stay stuck in problems.  You understand Jesus but you don’t understand the gospel.

    (2) Christ is my master (Beginning) (Gal. 2:20)

    (3) Christ reigns – God’s kingdom (Mt. 6:33)

I have been finished on the cross with Christ.  Me being the Lord of my own life, that’s been finished on the cross, and now we have a new beginning where Christ is living within me as Lord. Just like the Samaritan woman, when you meet Jesus Christ, you have a new beginning. That is why we completely entrust our life to the Lord, and from that moment on, God begins to work, and that is what it means for the work of God’s Kingdom to begin. I keep holding onto it, trying to control my own life, then there’s no reason for Jesus to work in my life. The only thing I can do is worry or be afraid, and that’s why even though people go to church for a long time, they still have mental illnesses, like depression. Only when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, will the Kingdom of heaven be established upon me, and He will reign over.  So you must completely entrust your life to the Lord Christ. From that point on, God does his work, and the things of heaven will come down from me.  The things I cannot gain from this earth will come to me from heaven. So, how do we do this specifically? We meditate on the Word God gives us.  My thoughts should not be the main thing leading me forward; the works of God must be leading me forward, because John 12:1 says the Word came to earth as flesh, and that is Jesus Christ.

  2) Word – Meditation – Healing (Heb. 1:14)

    (1) Jesus Christ is the word (Jn. 1:14)

    (2) Blessed one – Meditates on the law day and night (Ps. 1:2)

    (3) Fruits, Work – Prosper (Ps. 1:3)

Psalm 1:2 says, “Blessed is the one who meditates on the Word day and night.” Stop trying to gain blessings for yourself, God Himself is the blessing, so meditate on His Word day and night.  Ps. 1:3 says that the one who does this will bear fruit within season, and everything he does will prosper. What is prosperity? The will of God being fulfilled. That’s prosperity.  You pray and you struggle and do everything you can to do what you will or desire, but that’s not prosperity.  Everything going the way you want, or you will, is the way that the devil desires.  That’s not prosperity, so deny your will and chase after the Lord.  It may seem like a loss to you, but no, you just follow God’s Word and you’re fulfilled. Now, do the work of proclaiming the Word, which is the harvest. Go out into the world and do the work of saving lives.  That is actually your eternal food.  In order for you to relay life to others, I must first eat that life myself.  When this person goes out into their field, their job or business will be used to save people.

That is what Jesus Christ meant when He said, “First seek, God’s Kingdom and His righteousness,” and everything else will follow you. For the students, your talent and your specialization will follow as an answer for the work of saving lives.  That’s what happens when the correct priority is set.  The state of their emotions, thoughts, and heart will become normal.  We were created in the image of God, meaning God dwells within us and He fulfills His plan through us. What is “sin” and “Satan?” Instead of following God’s Word, it makes us follow after the creation of God, thinking that will fulfill our lives, but that’s not a blessing; it turns into curses, and instead of reigning over and subduing this world, we are enslaved by the world, and that’s why this world is so hard.  God has given you this blessing of ruling over and subduing the world, but because you are not prioritizing that, it is so hard and you are enslaved to this world. God does not make us believe in Jesus Christ so that we’ll have a harder life. God actually gave us the blessing of Jesus Christ so we can enjoy the gladness and the joy of participating in God’s work of saving lives. When your life comes to the final answer of Christ and goes into Christ, then everything else will follow. That’s the kind of business people who must arise. Even nonbelievers can work with their own strength. If you’re working with your own strength, it means you are working, centered on yourself, but that’s actually the work the devil desires. For us, we must study and work, centered on God.  Then, in season, you will bear fruit, and everything you do will be prosperous.

  3) Proclaim the word – Work of harvest

    (1) Doors of evangelism – Samaritan woman (Jn. 4:39)

    (2) Those who were prepared in Samaria (Jn. 4:39)

    (3) People’s words × Jesus is the Savior of the world (Jn. 4:42)

This one Samaritan woman was a door to evangelism to all of Samaria to receive the gospel. In the region where you are, there is a door of evangelism there. You have to open the door to go through; you shouldn’t break through a wall.  In the city of Philippi, Lydia was the door of evangelism there. In order to evangelize to a region, God always prepares a door for evangelism there, and if you go through that door, that person, then there are people who will receive salvation even behind them. So, at first, Jesus went and found this one Samaritan woman, but because she met the gospel and salvation, she gets to confirm that by spreading it to people around her. At first, they believed because of the Samaritan woman, and then they confirmed it themselves by meeting Jesus Christ.

Conclusion

1. Only Jesus Christ

2. Only God’s Kingdom – Mission

3. Only Filling of Holy Spirit – Prayer

So we must have “only Jesus Christ. If you have “Just Jesus Christ,” it means, “Yes, Jesus Christ is important, but money is important as well,” that’s not true. “Only Jesus Christ” means that everything is contained within that One, only Jesus Christ.  Matthew 17 says that the law of Moses and the power and works of Elijah are within Jesus Christ, and in order to proclaim that Jesus Christ, everything God gives you, that is the real answer.  In order to testify of only Jesus Christ, God will work upon you with only the Holy Spirit. And God gave you this blessing so you can hold onto this blessing and save America and the 237 nations of the entire world.  The people who really enjoyed these blessings will realize and testify of only Jesus Christ.  May you and I have victory throughout the week.

Message Prayer

Let us pray holding onto the Word that we have received today.

Offering Prayer and Newcomer Blessing

God, we thank You. We thank You for calling us to do this work of proclaiming this food of life. Allow the priority of our lives to be only Christ, only the Kingdom of God, and only the working of the Holy Spirit, and allow us to see the physical blessings that You have prepared to do this work.  Lord, we pray You will bless all the hands that have given this offering, for the church, the temple construction offering, for the 237 nations and the missions offering, and through the future generations offering. Through the people who have given this offering, we pray that You will reveal that all finances are in your hands.  We believe You will work with answers upon their businesses with the economy of light through the offering they have given to You in faith. And we believe that You will work upon the academics of the students with the light that will save this world. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, amen.

God, we thank You. We pray that upon these three newcomers, they will be able to enjoy and testify of the food that the world does not know. We pray all their studies and businesses will be used in the hands of God. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, amen.
