Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God

Assistant Pastor Helen’s Forum

Lately, the thing I’ve been putting into practice in my ministries and Bible studies is the way of Salvation, and I take the pulpit message from Sunday, because when I hold onto the message of God, that’s when God works.  The word I’m going to share today is a testimony of my previous failures. The first message of the year is to begin with the accurate covenant, but how do you think about this time to find the correct covenant?

No matter what words you listen to, the gospel must become ours.  No matter what the title of the message is, God desires for us to see the fulfillment of the message in the field.  In the introduction, we’re told today that the people who are saved do not have to worry about the future. What does that mean, to not worry about the future?  Rev. Ryu talked about three misconceptions that people have, that they don’t care and live however they want, but why are these misconceptions?  It’s because these do not come from the Word of Christ.

Why do you have to be victorious in worship?  With the same 24 hours, we can live righteous and pure lives before God, but we would lack the Word of God.  There are people who have read the Bible 100 times over, but we need to receive the Word of God centered on Christ at this time through our God-given message, that is, the pulpit message.  There are many members of the congregation who receive the Word and grace on Sunday, but they turn around and say they’re busy with their work and studies.  Then they lose hold of the message with their own thoughts, and that’s how we are found within Genesis 3.

After I received the shock of the fact that Jesus is the Christ, I didn’t take the time to make the message my own, and people told me they could memorize the Way of Salvation within two hours, and when you go out into the field, there are people who are destined to accept the message.  So, I received this message and was following Rev. Ryu throughout the world, doing the acceptance movement and casting out evil spirits, but when I came back to my own life, I wondered why my life was like this, and I suffered a lot because there was this gap.

I realized that no matter how much I pray in my house or in the mountains, if I don’t pray with the Word I received, it’s my own misconceptions.  So, I began experimenting with the pulpit message, and I look at the outline the night before and read all the Bible verses.  Already, I am eager with anticipation because I recognize that there are Bible verses like this, and I’m interested to see how the Pastor will talk about the Word.  Sometimes, I really don’t understand what he’s talking about, so I’ll look at the English version that I don’t understand well, but on Sunday while listening to the Pastor’s words, I won’t blink an eye because I have so many questions from the night before.

Sometimes, the pulpit message becomes my own personal answer, and when I receive that message, I think, “Oh my goodness, that was a completely different message.”  What happens to me that day? Even without saying anything, the pulpit message has been imprinted in me and as I sleep, I remember the message in my mind. Throughout the week, I lead these regional churches, and instead of trying to repeat the message every time, the imprinted message comes to life.  That movement of the Word comes out of me because when I speak on my own, I speak foolishly. The words I speak are mumbling, but the Holy Spirit is so delighted to work upon my words like this. This is our spiritual strength.

That’s why today’s pulpit message was about Number 22, so you should memorize it.  Numbers 22:28 is the core verse, but we can concentrate on verses 24-28.  The words of the LORD spoke through the donkey just as it came upon Jeremiah twice, and just as Isaiah received the Word concerning the remnant.  The coronavirus is nothing to be afraid of, but we don’t need to tremble in fear. We don’t have a special weapon, but we have the true weapon which is the Throne of Heaven.  Jesus Christ has all power and authority in heaven and on earth, so go and make disciples of all nations. I’ve lived for 80 years and I’ve held onto those words ever since I was little.

When I was little, I held onto the things of the earth, thinking they were everything, but I didn’t know about the authority that comes over heaven and earth.  This authority transcends time and space, leaving my mouth open.  I’m not trying to elevate the pulpit message above all things, but if we do not hold onto it, then we are stuck holding onto physical things. That’s why God gave us the coronavirus pandemic, to set these people apart.  He is looking on this earth for the ones who hold onto the Word of God and succeed in worship, so that He can set them apart to use them.

The third point we received in the pulpit message is that the angels of the Lord will raise up the summit disciples.  Then, how important is the pulpit? The pulpit message of each individual church is important, and when that pulpit message flows into me and becomes my own, then I’m used and World Evangelization takes place.  Our messenger for the pulpit, Pastor Park, wasn’t able to come today, and we should fast and pray for him and for ourselves.  It is never because of Pastor Park himself, but it is also because of us. He organizes the pulpit message and we are the field ministers to proclaim the message to our fields and regions and families.  So, enjoy the blessing of the throne of heaven through the pulpit.

He told us that the Word of God guides the direction of our lives.  The angels of the Lord are sent to us, guiding us in the important and direct path of the summit as disciples.  So, I hope you will also go home and really apply the pulpit message to the Way of Salvation message.  It’s only been about two months that I’ve received this kind of training, but two Thursdays ago, everything kind of exploded.  In the past, people threw fits because things were difficult, but two weeks ago, the ladies all came together with the pulpit message and the Way of Salvation message, and they were ready to conquer their fields.  That’s what happens through the pulpit message, and I hope this happens today.

So let’s take even 30 seconds to concentrate in prayer for Pastor Park and Assistant Pastor Bae and the many people who are going through difficult times like Missionary Chang, that they may hold onto their mission.

Prayer

Heavenly father, we thank You for giving us this time to receive the message. You have called us as your watchmen and ambassadors to save the age.  We only need Your Word and to be filled with the Holy Spirit to enjoy the blessings of your Throne.  As we go into our fields and families, may the forces of darkness be broken down in the name of Jesus Christ, and that we can enjoy the authority of Jesus Christ and overcome through your Word.

We pray for Pastor Park, your worker, as You give Your message through him so that we have the message for the field. May you break down the forces of darkness working in his family, and may this be an opportunity for the family to see how this is connected with world evangelization.

We pray for the ministers who are sick and in the hospital, that they may be healed through only Your Word. May this be a time where they embrace and experience the power of Christ, and we know that You are sovereign and that Your plan is in everything they experience, even in sickness. We pray that they will truly seek the answers You prepared in connection to world evangelization.  Everyone here is a true worker who holds onto the Word as we go into the field to overturn the age.  As this sounds very grand, it is a blessing You have given to us that we want to enjoy and live a life of glorifying you.

May You bless Missionary Choi and her family, that the forces of darkness will be broken so that they may stand up as one through the mission of only Christ. This is our only mission and purpose in life.  Thank You for all the things You have done for us, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
