Jesus Christ’s Missionary for World Evangelization (Rom. 15:14-21)
Let us bless and greet one another, “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” I bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that the Word will be fulfilled exactly as we have greeted it. The title of today’s message is, “Jesus Christ’s Missionary for World Evangelization.” The title of this message is made as such because Paul was an Apostle, called to proclaim the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles. Apostle Paul did not raise the church of Rome; however, the book of Romans was an epistle that Paul wrote to Rome. The reason Paul sent this letter with this ministry content in it is because Paul was an apostle for the Gentiles and the Romans were Gentiles.
So, who was the Apostle Paul who wrote this letter? He knew the scriptures from a long time but he could not find the solution to life. We must find the solution to life. If you’re not able to find the answer, then your ears will just go to whatever you want to hear; you will be swept up by the words of famous people because you don’t have the answer within the Word. For the children and students, they will listen to the wisdom and the knowledge of the world if they do not have the answer.
For Apostle Paul, he met Christ on the road to Damascus, and that was the answer to his life, but that shouldn’t only be his answer. In order for that to become the solution for many other people, he began to look at the Old Testament scriptures again, because the Jewish people were living their walk of faith with the Old Testament and that’s where Paul had to give the solution. Same thing with the Gentiles. The center of today’s scripture is the field. We are living in the field, and if this gospel is our solution, we must be able to give that solution to the field as well. If you’re not able to give the solution of the gospel to the field, then you are just holding onto that gospel by yourself. Same thing with whatever we are studying or our specialization in the field—if it is not needed by the field, then it is of no use.
Why are there some people who are so smart and so intelligent, but they’re barely able to make a living? Because all of their knowledge is not needed by the field. The field is the world. Why are Christians not able to exert strength and influence in the world? It’s because the gospel that they have is not an answer for themselves or for the people in the world. Why is it that people graduate from famous universities but barely make a living? It’s because all of their knowledge and specialization is not needed by the world. Same thing with our prayers. If we know the gospel correctly, then we will pray to be led by the Holy Spirit. If somebody is centered on themselves, they cannot be led by the Holy Spirit. We also need the prayer that breaks down the forces of darkness by the work of the Holy Spirit in the field. If I misunderstand prayer for myself, then the forces of darkness do not break down in the field.
1. Grace given to me
1) Gospel
(1) Not ashamed (Rom. 1:16)
The gospel of grace God has given to us contains everything within it. In today’s scripture, Paul says that this gospel God has given to him by grace. He also says in Romans 1:16 that he is not ashamed of the gospel. But, why are we ashamed of the gospel? It is because the gospel is not an answer to me, and if we are ashamed of the gospel, then it is because the gospel is not an answer for other people, either. However, if this gospel became a solution to my life, then I would not be ashamed of it; I would boast about it.
(2) Given to everyone who believes (Rom 1:16)
For somebody who knows the answer that this gospel is the solution that every person in the world needs, they would not be ashamed of the gospel; they would boast about it, because this is the gospel that is given to all those who believe. Jesus Christ died on the cross for all people, and the cross has overcome all of the power of sin, hell, and Satan at once. For those who believe that gospel, it is by God’s grace. People say, “Why is God unfair?” No, it is for those who believe. If you believe, then you are saved. If you don’t believe, then you cannot be saved, so don’t say that God is unfair. This person rejects God because they do not believe the gospel.
(3) Power of God Who gives salvation (Rom. 1:16)
This gospel is the power of God that brings salvation. Salvation cannot be done by the efforts of man. Salvation is only possible by the power of God. If we are able to share the salvation to other people in the field, it means that God’s power has come upon them. This is the mystery. But there are many people who live as Christians but do not have the power of God in their field at all. The reason is because they just live according to their thoughts like a nonbeliever would. It’s because God’s power is not upon them.
2) Gospel – Life (Jn. 1:4)
(1) Light to those in the darkness (Jn. 1:4)
John 1:4 says that this gospel is life. Life brings light to all things. Death will bring death, no matter how much you struggle. For sinners, their spirit is dead because of sin. Even if they succeed, their life is dead. Even if they live such a morally upright life, their life is dead. Their life is dragged by Satan, and they have to go to hell. But the gospel is life for us. It’s because, John 1:4 says that this gospel is the light of life to those who believe. Humans are born in a state of darkness and the only thing we need is light. What does the field of America need today? It needs the light of Christ; it doesn’t need more food. The government is providing food perfectly fine, so America has everything but lacks one thing. The person who will proclaim the light into the darkness. The person who will do that is the one who lives by the light of Christ.
(2) Cross – Died with Christ (Gal. 2:20)
Gal. 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live,” then who am I now? Christ lives in me, that is the life I live. I live by that faith. Now, we live by the life. This must be your solution, all problems are finished, then, because you have been changed from death into life. If this is not your solution, then that’s a headache. If it is your solution, then now we must live by the life. But many people continue to live by their own mental strength rather than the life; they live with the knowledge that they’ve learned. That’s why they keep going back into darkness.
(3) Ones who live by the life of Christ (Gal. 2:20)
The one who lives by life. The one who receives all answers from the life. The one who saves the field by life. That is our answer. For people who have received this as the answer to their life, they are different, but people who live a religious life, the life of Christ is not the answer for them. The reason we say the gospel is perfect and complete is because it is our answer, and we are sufficient with the gospel because that is true. We don’t need anything else; we need the life. For people who have this answer, they have the answer to their whole lives and they can give the answer to their field. These people will face crises, but for the people who are within the life of Christ, a crisis is not a crisis; it is actually an opportunity. If there is a land that is dry and parched, but it receives the water of life, then the vegetation will come to life, and the animals, everything will come to life. In America, there are so many problems, like mental problems, addiction, suicide, incurable diseases, and when the life of Christ comes in, all of that will come to life. That is our answer. The one who lives with that life.
There are so many theories, and those words may be correct, but they cannot be our answer. All the great words of the heroes of the world are great, but they are not the answer. So yes, we need the knowledge of the world, but it is not the answer to our life. For human beings, the life of Christ is their answer, and prayer is enjoying the life of Christ. We study with life, we work with life, we meet people with life. Then, everything will come to life. Even your studies should bring things to life, that’s how it can save others. Working hard is not the issue. Through your studies, the life of Christ must be relayed. The reason why elites have success but still crumble is because they lack life. Why do people struggle with problems even though they go to church? It is because they don’t have the answer to life. We’ve already been given the answer to life, but we’re not enjoying it so we wander and struggle. Apostle Paul received this solution and lived with it, and he proclaimed, “I must give this answer to the whole world.” That’s the gospel we’ve been given, too.
3) Grace
(1) Minister of Christ to the Gentiles (Rom. 15:16)
He said, “By the grace of God, I have been called as a minister of Christ to the Gentiles.” As soon as God called us, He gave us a mission. If the life of Christ is not a solution to us, then a mission sounds so burdensome and heavy. For that person, the mission feels like a heavy burden because they’re so busy living their own life and now they feel like they have another task. When God called Abraham, He said, “You are a blessing.” That is the answer. Everywhere he goes, he is a blessing. There’s nothing else to say. God said, “Through you, all peoples on earth will be blessed,” that’s his mission. As soon as God called Abraham, He gave him the mission as well.
(2) God gave when He called (Acts 9:15)
Does your mission sound burdensome? Then that means, I am wrong. If Christ becomes my answer, then of course I would receive that mission to relay that answer to others. Why do Christians continue to crumble as they live their walk of faith? It is because Christ is not the answer for them. Why do people keep on looking down on God’s mission and only live for their physical greed? Because the gospel is not an answer for them. Because the gospel is not their answer, they have to do all sorts of things to find their answer, but even though the Christ Who is my Lord already lives within me as my life. Why do people live, bearing these heavy burdens, getting stressed? It’s not that they’re bad people, it’s because they don’t know the fact that Christ lives within them as the Lord of their life. In the past, I lived as the master of my own life, but if we believe in the cross of Christ, it means that our master has changed, and now, the Lord lives inside of me, and we live by faith in Him. As you listen more to His Word, you gain more faith.
The gospel is everything, the gospel is perfect, the gospel is everything. If you don’t know the gospel like this, then you will fall in the field, because there are many circumstances that we face in the field, and even that, the gospel is the answer. No matter what kind of people you meet, Christ is the answer. You must know, believe, and enjoy that gospel. This gospel is needed by all people of the world. If this gospel is not my answer yet, I hope you will pray. I hope you will pray so that you will not know the gospel as knowledge, but as the true answer and life.
(3) For Christ’s name – Suffering (Acts 9:16)
For the people who have this grace of God, they may even suffer for the name of Christ. We suffer, not for ourselves, but for Christ. Then, all of that is a blessing. Because you have the gospel, the devil will work, because he will block the gospel through people around you. Sometimes you may face crises, but for the people who have the life of Christ, it’s not a crisis. If there is a large river flowing and there is an obstacle in the way, the river simply goes around it or over it, because the water is living. There is nothing that can block that water. Can a crisis block our lives? The Creator Christ can never be stopped by an obstacle; He will overcome it, but for the people who do not have that answer, they will try to escape or run from crises. Then, they can never succeed. For successful people, they always face crises because you can only become successful if you overcome the crises. We also must have this answer. The problem may be an obstacle for us, but if we have life, a problem will not be a problem for us. If you are centered on yourself, of course, a problem will be a problem, but for people who live with the life of Christ, a problem will not be a problem for them, because, I live by the life of Christ. Something might be a problem for a young baby, but if they are with their parent, it is no longer a problem.
2. Role of the priest for God’s gospel
Next, Paul says that we have been called to be priests of Christ. What is the duty or the role God gave me?
1) Israel – Reason for Exodus (Ex. 19:4)
In the Old Testament, there was a duty God gave to the Israelites after the Exodus. In Exodus 19:6, it says we have been called as a kingdom of priests for the Lord. For the Israelites who were saved by God, they had a mission: a nation of priests. What is a priest?
(1) A kingdom of priests for God (Ex. 19:6)
The priest is the person who will transfer all of the sins of the Israelites onto this blameless and flawless lamb, and slaughter the lamb for the sins of the Israelites. In other words, the priest is the mediator between God and sinners. Who are we? We have been given the position to act as a connection between God and the sinners of the world. How can we be mediators between God and the sinners of the world? We are also the mediators of the owner of the company and all of the workers. This means that we are important from the eyes of God and from the eyes of people. This position is absolutely necessary. No matter how weak I may be, my position is so important. People do not choose leaders of the world because of their personality; they respect them because of their position and role. Someone is powerful if they are the president of the United States; it has nothing to do with their personality or their education level. We may be lacking and weak, but our role and position are important. We are mediating between God and people.
So, you are very important in the eyes of God and the eyes of people. If you don’t know this, then you’ll have to live as an outsider. “I’m always an outsider, I’m always a minority,” that is a failure’s thoughts. “I am a priest of God.” Who is the majority in America? There are some people whom people claim are the majority or are powerful in America, but who is the one who is important in the eyes of God and the eyes of people? The priests. That person is the majority, that person is the main character. If our children do not have that pride, they can never survive in the superpower nation because the environment and the culture of the world are living by the world. But we are the VIPs whom God sees are important, and we are also the VIPs who are important to people. That is the duty of the priest.
We are the ambassadors of Christ, we must put that spiritual pride into our children for them to not become oppressed. For these people, even if they are in the minority, they will go into the majority; they will go in there and change them. That is the history of the whole Bible. If the children don’t know this, then they will have to try to fit in with the majority. But they will say, “Even if you try, you’re still a minority,” that’s the environment of the world. I was doing ministry at Seoul National University, and even there, there is a hierarchy of power. It’s the same no matter where you go. Same thing in American society. Even inside of Caucasian society, there’s the people the top and the people at the bottom; everywhere, there is a gathering of people, that exists, and that’s why people try so hard to succeed, so they can make it into the majority, but no matter how hard we try, you will always be outcast as a minority. Because, there is a devil who is holding onto and controlling this world, but for us, it doesn’t matter.
Joseph went into Egypt as a slave and everybody discounted him as a minority, but it didn’t matter, because In God’s eyes, Joseph was important and in God’s eyes, the majority is with Joseph. Because of one person, Joseph, not only Egypt, but surrounding nations, were saved. Apostle Paul had the same pride for the spiritual gospel. Our children must go into their schools with this spiritual pride. Why would they be oppressed by the environment and their grades at school? No matter where you go, you’re bound to be oppressed by the environment there. But we are going into the field as the priest, as the mediator between the people and God in this field; then all of your scars, your infertility complex, they would go away. Before that point, those things would never go away. If you feel someone is stronger than you are, you feel inferior, and if you surround yourself with people you feel are less than you, you think your scars are healed but they’re not. Children are growing up like that, that’s why they look down on adults, because they say, “You’re not following the culture of America.” That’s the child who doesn’t have the answer of the Bible yet. This is the evidence in the gospel. Daniel went into Babylon, powerless, but he changed everything as the majority. What does the ocean need? It is salt, and a small percentage of salt makes the entire ocean salty. What does this world need? It is the light, the small minority of the Early Church changed the majority of the world. For people who don’t know this, they try to fit in with the majority. Same thing with the gospel. If people don’t have the same answer of the gospel, they try to fit in with the majority of religions. They will never be able to change the world, because they follow the environment. They think, “We just have to gather a lot of people.” Who cares if there are a lot of people? They don’t have the answer. You and I have the answer, that’s the gospel we’ve received.
(2) A holy nation (Ex. 19:6)
It says we have been called as a kingdom of priests, a holy nation. That means we’ve been set apart as a holy nation. That means we’re different; the reason we’re different is because we live by life. The nonbelievers live by their own hard work but we live by the life of Christ. Do you think that somebody who is living as the lord of their own life will be able to compete with somebody who is living with the Lord of the world as their Lord? May you be strengthened. If you live by your own strength, you have no choice but to be discouraged. but I hope you will challenge. What are you afraid of that you’re not praying for finances? If the reason is correct, then open your mouth wide and pray. You’re a child of God; what could you not pray about? Are you sick or with ailments as you go to church? Then pray to receive spiritual strength. If you receive spiritual life, then your mind and your body are also strengthened. If you keep asking other people to pray for you, that’s only temporary. You must receive fundamental strength. Same thing with your studies and your job. You must receive the fundamental strength, the power of God. All you have to do is pray, but we don’t pray, because we live by our own thoughts. That is a life of no answers. You and I have a life with answers. We can enjoy the life any time and come to life. Are you suffering from addiction or depression? If you continue to enjoy the power of life, those things will no longer be a problem. They won’t be a problem at all. What can be a stumbling block to Christ? If I’m enjoying Christ, then what can be a problem for me? The members of the Early Church lived with this answer, and today, this gospel is being lost, that’s why believers are wandering. They wander here or there, but they have no answer. No matter how much you develop your skill, that’s not the answer, but people are deceived. It’s the life of Christ, everything comes from the life of Christ. You will be saved and you will be the one to save others. Don’t you think that’s how your children should live, too? It’s not enough to just go to church diligently. It doesn’t matter how much you live a religious life, it means nothing, because as soon as you face a crisis, you try to run away. But for the successful people, they change the crisis into an opportunity.
(3) Become God’s treasured possession (Ex. 19:5)
Look at the people who are studying, they are always facing a crisis. The reason they are successful is because they overcome the crises, and if someone is not able to overcome the crisis, then they become a failure. How can we know? If you are within the life of Christ, there’s no such thing as a crisis to Christ, it’s an opportunity. There’s evidence of that in the Bible, he went in as a slave, but that was n’t a crisis; that was an opportunity. Later on, he becomes the head of Potiphar’s household, taking care of everything, and later on, he becomes the governor who saved everyone. But he started at the ground level, in the field.
In order to know the field, you have to start at the ground up. Any owner who does not know the ground level cannot really run the company. Even the president who does not know the people at the lowest level cannot do their job correctly. You cannot do that with what you’ve studied at your table. Right now, the German cars have fallen behind, because the Hyundai cars are actually penetrating the market because they’ve diagnosed the field, the market. They know exactly what people want in the winter cold. For centuries, German cars had been leading the market in Europe. How can you break that down? They analyzed the field: they made the exterior fashionable, and Hyundai makes it so that even the most basic models have heated steering wheels for winter. And if your car is broken, you can get it fixed immediately, and if you leave your car there, they’ll deliver it back to your house within two weeks. So, even if you have the same specialization, you need to be needed by the field.
2) Royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9)
(1) Called out of darkness (1 Peter 2:9)
(2) Into His wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9)
(3) Sing praises of Him (1 Peter 2:9)
The field, where people are living. What is the solution to them? At your job, with the gospel, in everything, it must be needed as an answer to the field. Even in the New Testament, in 1 Peter 2:9, it says we have been called as a royal priesthood, we have been called from the darkness. We were in darkness and only the gospel set us free from the forces of darkness. The One Who called you into His marvelous light. It means you have come into our light of life. You have been called to declare the praises of Him. We’ve been called to proclaim the gospel of Christ. I hope that you will have spiritual pride. If you have spiritual pride, then everything else comes to life. Do you know why people try to go into these groups and have that kind of connection? It is because they want to identify with the group so they can have pride with that group. People say, I’m an American,” that means they take pride in being a member of America. If someone says, “I’m a US marine,” they have pride in belonging to that group. That’s why people tried so hard to be included in a group. Maybe it’s a small portion we need, but it’s not our whole answer. Even if you’re a member of Harvard, that’s not your answer. Even if you’re a member of the Navy Seals, that is not an answer. You might be a little more proud bc compared to other people, but they devil will laugh at that. You have the pride that makes the devil shake in fear. I have been called as a royal priesthood. Even if you graduate from Harvard, if you love what the devil loves, you’ll be devoured. Yes, I graduated from Harvard, but I have spiritual pride, and that breaks down the devil, and that saves other people. Then, that is who is used.
Spiritual pride. I’m a royal priesthood, I’m a mediator between God and sinners; I am necessary. America needs me, I don’t need America. Without that pride, your children will find it hard to survive. America must need me, the world must need me, my job must need me. Live with that pride, that’s the kind of gospel we have received; we cannot even compare with religions. This gospel is the power of the throne of heaven, given from heaven.
3) Glory in Christ Jesus in service to God (Rom. 15:17)
(1) Lead the Gentiles to obey God (Rom. 15:18)
(2) Accomplished through me (Rom. 15:18)
(3) Will not speak of anything else (Rom. 15:18)
Paul says he glories in this work of Christ. The work God does through me, I boast about that. “So that the Gentiles may obey this gospel.” I will not speak of anything except for the work that Christ has done through me. What was the word God gave you last week? There is nothing to speak about other than how that Word was fulfilled, because that is the work God is doing. You might brag about your hard work and all that you’ve done, but that does not save people. You should boast of the work that God has done. I prayed about this, and God answered me that way, boast about that. Last week, I shared this gospel with someone, and they received salvation; I’ll boast about that. Everything else follows naturally. Wherever the name of Christ is proclaimed, everything else will follow. Christ is the Creator of the universe and He is the cornerstone of all creation, so everything else follows Him.
3. God’s work
1) Through me (Rom. 15:18)
(1) What I have said and done (Rom. 15:18)
What is the work of God then? He says, “through me,” what a blessing is that? I am nothing special but the almighty God is working through me? How? Through actions and words? God’s works take place in my life, God’s works are revealed in my life. Because I’m holding onto the Lord of Life through faith. If everything you say at work is fulfilled exactly, then even the owner has to follow what you say, isn’t that right? Oh, this person is a low-level worker, but everything they say is true? Then we must follow them. Then, somebody might be the official owner of the company, but really, the owner is this person. Look at Joseph, he was at rock bottom, but not in God’s eyes; in God’s eyes, Joseph was the owner.
Daneil was taken as a captive, he was a minority, but everything he said was fulfilled. That is a powerful person. Everything works according to what they say, why? Because it’s not really their words, God is speaking through that person. If you speak according to your thoughts, you can never save anyone. If you hold onto the Life of Christ and pray with that life, then He will work through your words. Not a single word that Smauel said fell to the ground. That’s the blessing we’ve received as well. But if that doesn’t happen, then we become slaves, we become unnecessary. Things work out according to what you say, because you’re not speaking your thoughts, because the Word of Life is revealed through my words.
(2) Through the power of signs and wonders (Rom. 15:19)
(3) Through the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 15:19)
Paul says, “Signs and wonders.” A “sign” is pointing us to something. Wonders are like miracles. God revealed Himself to me through the power of signs and miracles, but all through the spirit of God. Even people will listen to the words of fortune tellers, and they may be correct, but later on, they fall. Even politicians will go to fortunetellers and ask them for their words. But you and I are priests; we need to declare the Word God gives us, and everywhere you go, people have to listen. If you’re not able to hear God’s Word, then you are speaking useless words. Paul says that he has proclaimed the gospel from Jerusalem all the way to Illyricum, which means, Paul has proclaimed the gospel all the way to the ends of the Roman Empire, and the other Apostles proclaimed the gospel in other regions.
2) Scope and principles of ministry
(1) From Jerusalem to Illyricum (Rom. 15:19)
(2) Not building on someone else’s foundation (Rom. 15:20)
(3) Those who have not heard the gospel – will understand (Rom. 15:21)
Paul says, “I will not build on someone else’s foundation,” so if Paul was running his ministry so that people who had never heard the gospel of Christ may understand. During that time, the perfect gospel was being relayed, but in the churches today, they have lost the gospel. It is very weak. So even to people who go to church, we must allow them to understand the gospel, because the gospel is being relayed so weakly, they are struggling. People are living in America without knowing who they are, so that’s why they live such tired, exhausted, and difficult lives. We need to help them understand the gospel correctly; that is a kingdom of priests, a royal priesthood. That’s our first job. Your second job is whatever you are doing, physically. So if you lose hold of your first job and put all of your hard work into your second job, then you lose all of your spiritual blessings of prayer. We must relay this correctly to the next generation. If you don’t give this mission to your children but you only leave their inheritance, God has to be the one to bless them. Whatever you give to them as inheritance will be stolen away, because whatever you hold onto without knowing the gospel, you will lose all of it. We must relay to our children the perfect gospel as their inheritance. God gave Solomon wisdom so even though he didn’t have any money, he would have made it. If you have wisdom, money follows. If you give them the power of the gospel, things will work out. Nothing else can be their strength, only the gospel. We must relay that as our solution.

The work of God is to relay this gospel to all the people whom I meet, that is how the power of God is revealed. You don’t have to ask God to reveal His power; when you relay the gospel, God’s power is revealed naturally. If I enjoy the life of the gospel, then God’s power is revealed, but for people who live according to their thoughts they keep losing power. I hope you will stop thinking so much and instead, pray to the Lord Who has the power of life. You think so deeply, but your IQ is barely 110. If you are connected with the almighty God with infinite IQ, then God’s power and wisdom will be given to you. We should enjoy that and give that to our children.

So, in conclusion, how can you have victory in a day? As soon as you wake up, you must save yourself. When you open your eyes, you must open your spiritual eyes. Everything is finished on the cross, and now, Christ lives in me. Open your spiritual eyes to that, first. Pray that everywhere I go today, may I say the things that God wants me to say, and hear the things God wants me to hear, and see the things that God wants me to see, then what happens? God works with you, but we’re not able to pray like that. That’s why we need time. God gives us time every day, and depending on how you make today victorious will determine your future. It doesn’t matter what kind of people you meet, you are relying on God when you meet them, and you see with the wisdom of God, and you hear what God wants you to hear. And from my eyes, I may think that this person is unnecessary, but that’s why you lack answers in life. If you pray, you will see what God wants you to see.
You think, “Oh, this person can’t help me make money?” then your life will end like that. God has allowed you to meet that person. So, whatever you see, hear, and say, do it in prayer, and that’s when you say, “God is with me.” That is Immanuel; we must enjoy the blessing of Immanuel. At night, you should reflect on how the covenant God gave you was fulfilled with the places you went and the people you’ve met, because God promised, you will be a witness to the ends of the earth. Where will I go tomorrow, who will I meet tomorrow? Confirm that at night because God promised you will be a witness. All of this is spiritual, and inside of the spiritual things, physical follows. There are some people who go physically well without spiritual things, those are the heroes of the world. In the end, they all end pitifully, that’s what history warns us about.
If you have a counter example, bring it to me. If you know anybody who’s lived their entire life without the gospel and they ended their life well, bring them to me. Even Napoleon died pitifully in the end, Hemingway, everyone. They all died with mental illness. Genghis Khan, same thing. All of the great heroes of the world who don’t have the power of the gospel met a pitiful end. Rome without the gospel and America without the gospel will have a pitiful end. We have been called as the royal priesthood of the gospel to change that for them. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that you and I may enjoy and proclaim this blessing this week.

God, we thank You. Thank You for giving us the gospel as our answer. We believe You will bless us as the nation of priests who will enjoy and receive all things from the gospel and relay that life into the field. Everywhere this offering is used, may lives be saved. We believe You will work with the economy of light upon the hands that have given this offering. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, amen.

Now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the unending love of God, and the indwelling, working, guidance, and fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be upon the heads of all the people of God, the people of all nations, and the future generations who have been called as the missionaries of Christ for world evangelization, be with them now until forevermore and always, amen.
