The Decision of the Covenantal Faith (Heb. 11:23-27)

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God

The Decision of the Covenantal Faith (Heb. 11:23-27)

Speaker Pastor Dusun Park | Interpreter Tiffany Han

Let us bless one another, Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.  May the unprecedented and never depleted unprecedented, never repeated blessings of God be upon all the individuals and families worshiping in the church, in their homes, out of state, or out of the country. The title of today’s message is, “The Decision of the Covenantal Faith.”  Our life is a series of decisions. Our life is determined based on our decisions.

It’s possible that my decisions may be correct or incorrect in God’s eyes. The reason my life is the way it is right now is because of a series of decisions I made throughout life. Then at this time, if we make the decision that God desires most, then my life can go into God’s prepared blessings. It’s possible we may make one decision that will change our entire lives.

Today’s main scripture is about Moses.  Among the Israelites, Moses is one of the greatest leaders.  How was Moses used by God?  And how could I be used by God today?  To be used by God means that you’re being used as the main character.  The world says there are main characters, however there is a main character whom God uses.  No matter what anyone says, the main character of Egypt in this age was Moses. It’s because Moses is the one who can fulfill the errands of God’s covenant.

In that day and age, there was the King of Egypt, the Pharaoh. Egypt was a very developed nation, and people were so envious of that.  But there were some people who didn’t think much of that, there were people who placed their value of life in something else.  The people who were able to see the things with other value will be used by God.

How great is that blessing? That is a blessing upon many generations of your family line.  Even if I achieve success through my diligent work, that’s a blessing that can’t even compare to this. Let us see what kind of blessing Moses had today.

1. Faith of Moses’s parents

  1) Egypt

    (1) A king to whom Joseph meant nothing (Ex. 1:8)

Before we talk about Moses, Moses’ parents were important because the children will be influenced by the parents and older parents would know this, and mature children will know this as well. These children are not being influenced by their school educations.  Their studies may be influenced by their education; however, their inner self is influenced by their parents. I’m the middle child of three brothers, but the commonality is that we’re not influenced by our education at school, but what we’ve received from our parents.  This is something all three of us now grown-up children are saying.

During the age of Moses’ parents, there was a king of Egypt who did not know of Joseph. During the age of Joseph, Egypt received grace. While Joseph was the governor, he fed and raised up Egypt. The people who are truly inside of God’s covenant can save the entire nation, and there are kings who recognized that. So, they could not bother the Israelites.  However, one day, there was a king who did not know of Joseph. The thoughts of kings without the covenant revolve only about themselves; even the leaders of companies only know of themselves, and parents will educate their children, centered on themselves.

    (2) Command to kill male babies (Ex. 1:16)

The king saw the Israelites were becoming too numerous and they might overthrow the Egyptian government, so he was afraid and decided to cut down the population of the Israelites. He created a decree to murder all newborn Israelite boys. This was the decree of the king, and anyone who did not follow that decree would die, but these kids continued to be born and grow up, so the king’s decree was not being carried out because the midwives received God’s grace, so they would save the Israelite babies.

    (3) Became numerous by God’s grace (Ex. 1:20)

Why did God’s grace come upon the midwives?  God did this because He faithfully fulfills the promise He gave to Abraham long ago.  God keeps His promise, “Your descendants will be more numerous than the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore.”  The policies and laws are important, but they cannot overcome the Word of God.  These children continued to grow up.

  2) Decision by Moses’s parents

    (1) Tribe of Levi (Ex. 2:1)

In this incident, Moses’ parents were Levites. During this time, the Levites were not yet priests; they were just one of the tribes, they weren’t designated as priests until later.

    (2) Saw that he was no ordinary child (Heb. 11:23)

It says in Heb. 11:23 that when Moses was born, his parents saw that he was no ordinary child. Every parent thinks their child is so special; if their child likes music, they think maybe they’ll become a musical prodigy, but this is different.  For the people who are within the covenant, when they are pregnant, God gives them the Word in advance. That may not be the case for most people sitting here, but that was the case for me. I’m sure there are many people who get pregnant without realizing it.  However, without a doubt, whenever God gives you a life, He has a goal and a purpose, so He will give you His Word.

Back then, the Word of God was not printed as it is today, so God would give the covenant to the mother through dreams and prophecies.  When the child was born, he was different.  What was this a sign of?  From the parents’ perspective, the Word God had given in Genesis 3:15, and that Abraham’s descendants would be enslaved for 400 years and then liberated was being fulfilled at this time.

    (3) Hid him for three months – Defied the king’s command (Heb. 11:23)

    (4) Placed Moses in a papyrus basket along the bank of the Nile (Ex. 2:3)

So they raised Moses for three months, put him into a basket, and then put him in the river in some reeds.  At that time, the Pharaoh’s daughter, a married princess, did not have a child.  The daughter of the Pharaoh had places to bathe in the palace; the reason she was bathing in the Nile River was because the Nile symbolized the god of fertility and abundance, so she was worshiping there.  When she went to the river, she heard the sound of a baby. Then the characteristic of these people is they will say, “My god has given me this child.”

    (5) Moses’s mother became his nurse (Ex. 2:7)

At that time, Moses’ older sister Miriam was watching and asked, “Do you need a nurse mother?”, and because she was nursing Moses, she was getting paid by the Pharaoh’s daughter to nurse her son; that’s the kind of economy.  You may not know about this economy so you’ll work yourself to the bone, but the economy God has prepared will be given to you. As you do this, you’ll do all of God’s work.

Imagine how much of a fervor his mother had, because she knew that after nursing her son, he would be sent into the Egyptian palace, so once the baby was able to understand words, she began to relay God’s Word to him.  Egyptians were nursed by their mothers until they were 7-10 years old, and once that child has grown up, they were sent into the Egyptian palace.

    (6) Moses became the son of Pharaoh’s daughter (Ex. 2:10)

In order for God to fulfill His promise, God chose Moses and his parents. Even a crisis of death will not bring death. Moses cannot die because there’s something he must do. During the COVID crisis, people who have a mission from God do not fear death, but the people who do not have that mission will rightfully be afraid of death. People don’t die because of their cancer; people die because of their fear, their fear regarding death. People aren’t destroyed because their business fails, but people are seized by their fear and panic about what will happen after their business fails.

Moses’ mother made a decision of faith that rejected the king’s decree. If there was a law that said, “You can live in this land but you cannot believe in Jesus or testify of him”, we cannot follow that law. This is not an attempt to defend Christianity.  If Christ is not testified, there’s no way for people to be liberated from Satan and disasters.  This is not a matter of pastors being ordained so they can bring more people into their church.  Even if Egypt has everything in the world, they cannot escape from the curses and disasters of darkness and Satan without Christ.

2. Moses’s Faith

  1) Brought up as the son of the Pharaoh’s daughter (Acts 7:21)

    (1) Educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptian people (Acts 7:22)

Moses was now growing up in the Egyptian palace as the princess’s son, and he was educated in all the ways fo Egypt.  In Acts 7:22, it says he was educated in all the things he needed to be the ruler of Egypt.  Colleges today are very specific in their majors, but back then, the royalty that would become rulers would go to college and would learn everything. They had to learn arithmetic necessary for building the Egyptian pyramids, language skills, leadership, and military strategies for war.

    (2) Power of language (Acts 7:22)

    (3) Power of leadership (Acts 7:22)

It says he was powerful in speech and action, so before maturity, education is important. In the palace, he learned everything he needed to eventually rule. But when he became about 40 years old, his heart changed.

  2) Moses’s decision

    (1) Refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter (Heb 11:24)

He refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.  If he accepted that title, he would be the next in line to become the prince of Egypt.  People immigrate to America just to get that title, but Moses refused it.  Even right now, people are living to gain this kind of accomplishment; people with blond hair and blue eyes will marry other people with blond hair and blue eyes to maintain their lineage. The same thing was going on back then.

    (2) Refused to enjoy the pleasures of sin (Heb. 11:25)

There is a pleasure that is living separated from God, serving idols.  There is a pleasure that people feel temporarily on this earth.  People have their pleasure by drinking, taking drugs, and going on vacations.  People have their own pleasures in life, but all of that pleasure comes from Satan and disasters. Moses didn’t like that.

    (3) Chose God’s people and mistreatment (Heb. 11:25)

How can I be like Moses? God’s grace was upon Moses. If someone receives God’s grace, they will not follow everybody else. Everyone is doing whatever they can to succeed, and we don’t want to do that. People go to church and pray but they’re doing everything they can to struggle to succeed. People who receive God’s grace won’t want that.

Heb. 11:25 says that he chose rather to be with God.  It means he chose to be in the line of God’s covenant.  That means he must suffer in Egypt because they have to have the Exodus, they have to go to Canaan, they have to relay this gospel.  But this world hates that gospel.  The world is focused on gaining more physical pleasure and success, but the people of the covenant won’t want that.

  3) Left Egypt (Heb. 11:27)

Heb. 11:27 says, “by faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger.”

    (1) Discovered the value of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:26)

And the reason is in Heb. 11:26, “He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as better treasures than Egypt.” This is someone who has properly discovered this. I’m not saying that if you believe in Jesus Christ, you no longer need money or success. I’m not saying that if you believe in Jesus Christ, you should live as a beggar to prove your faith.  I’m saying, even if you have these things, it doesn’t feel valuable to you. I’m not telling you to throw away all your success and live by yourself in the mountains.  “Even if I’m seated in the seat of success, I don’t find it valuable,” but doing the work of God’s covenant and being within it seems much more valuable.

    (2) Treasures of Egypt cannot compare to it (Heb. 11:26)

The rewards of the world are so great; you can have money and respect, but one day, these things seem valueless to you. Moses wanted the reward of being with Christ more, because this is incomparable.  Last week, I said even with people who go to church, there are two types of people.  The people who have discovered the true value will not follow the things of the earth because they have discovered something more valuable than the things of earth.  The common characteristic of those people is that the things of the earth follow them.

The principle of power is that the people who have less power have to follow those with more power, just like the globe has gravitational pull, things are pulled towards it.  If I have the thing of greatest value, then all the people of the world are bound to follow that value.

    (3) Looked ahead to his reward (Heb. 11:26)

Heb. 11:26 continues, “Moses was looking forward to the greater value of the treasures. The things of Earth are not the goal, but people are living their walk of faith for worldly goals, but that is like a Buddhist. That’s not a proper Christian, that’s a religious person. It seems like we’re doing this work, but there’s something greater.  Because someone is holding onto something so much more valuable, this person will change.

There’s a reward, a crown God has prepared for us in the eternal kingdom.  So, as they were being persecuted on Earth, they will receive a hundred times blessing on Earth physically and the eternal reward in heaven; you are blessed twice.  If you receive God’s grace properly, your eyes will be opened to see this value.  Yes, we need money, but if I do the work God needs, God is bound to give me more money. Yes, I need my intellect, but if I’m used in the place God needs, He will give me more wisdom.

So, where will you place your value?  If your eyes are properly opened, everything else will follow you, and I hope you will become Christians like that. Just because you’ve tried really hard doesn’t mean you’ve changed; you need to receive God’s grace and faith regarding God’s accurate covenant.

    (4) Not fearing the king’s anger (Heb. 11:27)

Now, Moses was thinking of leaving the palace. That’s not an easy thing.  He had his parents who raised him for more than 30 years, and his grandfather was the Pharaoh.  He doesn’t remember his birth mother very well, but he has to make this resolution. Why can’t he stay as the prince and relay the gospel as the prince of Egypt? He cannot do this because the king of Egypt must lead the idolatry in Egypt, so it was very hard for him.

So, Moses had this mission and one day saw that an Egyptian soldier was mistreating an Israelite, so he tried to do something about it and ended up killing the Egyptian.  So then he made a resolution in his heart, “I have to cut off all connections and run away.” This is not an easy thing, it’s only possible by God’s grace.  Your entire life’s future is here, so you cannot cut it off easily.

    (5) Persevered because he saw him who is invisible (Heb. 11:27)

Yes, there was suffering to leave his land and house.  Now, he has to live his life as a fugitive on the run.  How did he endure?  God is invisible but he made a resolution, “I will live my life, holding onto the words of God’s covenant.” That’s the process by which Moses was used by God.

You and I go to church but let’s say the Word of God is confusing for us. God is not confusing, you are only being confused because you’re trying to look at God’s Word from the perspective of your values in the world.  But once God’s grace comes upon you, you’ll realize, “I am nothing. I was a sinner even in my mother’s womb. I was living my Christian life so diligently thinking I was doing right, but I was diligently going opposite of the gospel, into legalism, mysticism, and prosperity-based faith.”

All such people are centered on the actions of people. Only the gospel will give you God’s grace and God’s covenant. By God’s grace, one day, Moses discovered the value of Christ. Until we discover that value, we have to be dragged around by the world, enslaved to Satan.  The reason we have depression is because our hearts keep going in the ways that make us depressed.  Why does my life have endlessly heavy burdens? It’s because my heart is always going in that direction.

People who do drugs don’t do it for no reason; at the center of this person’s heart, there is an interest that always takes them towards drugs. Even right now, there are people sitting in worship, but the focus of their heart is always “How can I succeed? How can I make money?” God’s grace must be there. Until that aspect changes, we have no choice but to live a religious life.  But God’s grace came upon Moses and his heart began to move.

I’ve experienced this personally, too. If God’s grace comes upon you, you cannot push it aside. In other words, you have no choice.  Evangelism is the easiest thing. You really don’t know evangelism, shall I tell you about my story?  I had a friend in Korea and he didn’t even go to church, but one day he told me to go to church, and that was stuck in my heart. Am I someone who would really get stuck on such words? God’s grace came upon me.

So, in my heart I had already decided, “I’m going to go to church.”  But on the outside, my expressions and words were very toxic, as if Christianity was the most detestable thing to me.  You guys look at that and are deceived.  You look at this person’s expressions and words and think, “They’ll never believe,” but you’re being deceived.  Even before that point, God had already molded me.

Every night, one of my friends would say, “Look at the stars in the sky, God made all of those,” and he would talk about God every night. He kept saying those words, not even realizing what he was saying.  He just said a few nonsense words, but I give him credit for blessing my life by evangelizing to me. Now, whenever I go to his dental office for free, because he says, “You evangelize to me, keep evangelizing,” so all my dental work is free.  If anything, he even pays my gas bills.  He was saying a bunch of nothings, but even within his nonsense ramblings he didn’t even know about, God had already moved my heart to go to church because it was God’s time schedule.

Do you know why evangelism is hard? It’s because you don’t believe in God. “Oh, but I do believe in God.” Not that faith. “If I have the gospel that can give people salvation, then I have to have the faith that everyone I meet is a target of evangelism,” but we don’t believe that. We believe God is alive, but we don’t believe God has a plan to give the gospel to everyone we meet.  Then ultimately we keep losing those blessings.

Even if we say just a few words, if someone is prepared by God to open their heart, they’ll know.  Why did God allow me to meet this individual out of the billions of people in the world? Do you think God made a mistake?  No, I have the gospel, so God allowed me to meet this person with the plan to give them the gospel.  As this faith begins, evangelism will begin.  Everything beyond this point is useless effort because you have disbelief.

It doesn’t mean you should look for foolish people to evangelize to, it doesn’t mean that only people at rock bottom can evangelize. Moses was not someone at the rock bottom; Moses was at the highest level of success, but his heart was already touched by God. “God allowed me to meet this person.”  From the moment you have this faith, the works of evangelism will take place.

God gives you such meetings through your job. This person may have an expression like they will never believe, but even if you say nonsense words that seem similar to the gospel, if someone’s heart is prepared to be opened to God, they will receive your words like a sponge. Or if God has carried out a time schedule for someone to have a big problem in their life, then they will meet you.  It’s so simple, “You can escape with Christ.” I just said those words without thought, but this was the answer to that person’s life.

What could be easier than evangelism? But if you think evangelism is the hardest thing, that’s how much you don’t know God.  You may know God inside the church, but you don’t know the God Who is working outside of the church. God gives you these blessings of meeting to bless your business, but you’re kicking them to the side. If the gospel is being relayed, then everything else will follow.

You studied this in history, the United Kingdom was most successful when the gospel was in it; Europe was most successful when the gospel was in it. Why is America most powerful now? Because America has the gospel, and they relay the gospel.  Why is China rising to power? Because there are believers arising in China.  People talk about democracy versus communism, but God doesn’t care about that; if the gospel goes in, God will protect them.  There are people hiding in basements and praying for the gospel in Korea. The gospel is not cut off.  God works and blesses the people who have faith regarding this.

3. Covenantal faith

  1) Paul’s decision

Paul was the most successful person.  Back in that day, Israel was a theocracy, similar to present-day Iran where the religious leader is the sociopolitical leader as well, so the more you knew your Bible, the more successful you were in the world. One day, Paul met Jesus. Paul isn’t someone who would listen to anyone’s explanations. God knew Paul’s personality and so, God sent Jesus to change him personally.

When God comes before Paul with the voice of Jesus, he completely falls over.  Evangelism is not done by your persuasion. If God pours the working of the Holy Spirit upon the person He has predestined, just one of your words will change this person.

    (1) Whatever were gains to me (Phil. 3:7)

Phil. 3 was Paul’s confession, the one who had the greatest success and education at that time.  Phil 3:7 says, everything that was a gain for me, everything I did in my past was for my benefit.  He talked about the Word of God a lot, but it was all for himself because he needed to do that in order for him to succeed.

    (2) I now consider loss for the sake of Christ (Phil. 3:7)

    (3) I consider everything a loss to gain Christ (Phil. 3:8)

But once I met Jesus Christ, I realized everything I was holding onto, like Moses, is now rubbish and a harm, in order to gain Christ.  It means he’s now holding onto something else. In Col. 2:3, it says every land where Christ goes into receives God’s Word.  God begins to work upon all the businesses that receive Christ, why?  Because everywhere Christ goes, the demons, curses, Satan, and hell are broken down. This isn’t taught in schools, it is only taught in the Bible.

But just because you read the Bible doesn’t mean you know this, it’s only for those who receive God’s grace. So just because you read the Bible doesn’t mean you know the Bible. You can only begin to see if the Holy Spirit begins to work upon you and reveals it to you by God’s grace.  Before that point, we just choose a religion, irrelevant to God, because we want to succeed in life. I tell you surely, you will face a limitation because we cannot change our inner spirit with money; it cannot be changed with success, and it doesn’t matter how great you make your personality: you cannot change the inner things.  A person can only fundamentally change when they receive the light of Christ.

All problems are finished, but we cannot understand those words. That’s what the Bible is telling us, but Christians cannot understand these words, and that’s why they’re always conflicted. Your depression is already finished. “I still have depression. Why are you lying and saying it’s already finished?” That’s the difference between you and me.  What does the Bible say? “It is finished.” We understand the words individually, but what does that mean, actually?

For the people who actually believe and understand those words, it is finished, why? Because the human fundamentals have been changed.  The fundamental spirit of humans have changed, so we’re no longer under Satan, curses, and hell, and now it’s influencing our thoughts and our body.  Just like a surgery, once you’ve had the surgery to cut out a cancerous tumor, it may hurt and leave a scar, but it will get better over time.

    (4) Be found in Christ (Phil. 3:9)

Christ is the solution to all problems. You have to understand those words to understand Christ properly and to explain those words, but if you don’t really understand those words, you’ll always struggle with problems.  The Lord already said it’s finished, but you say it’s not finished, so you pray about it again and again, but you don’t have to. It’s not a problem, but you say it’s a problem for yourself. You say it’s a problem for you and your job, but you’re alone in thinking this.  Until the Word of God comes into you, you’re bound to keep falling into problems.

The One Who has all authority in heaven and on earth is with you eternally. God will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, God will curse. Is that person a problem for you? Leave them alone, it’s not just leaving them alone, but if you remain within God’s covenant, God will take care of them.  But the very fact that you’re conflicted because of people means that you are not within the covenant.

If someone blesses me, God will bless them. If someone curses me, God says He will curse them.  But we don’t believe in God’s Word, so we say, “I’m going to get revenge no matter what,” and that’s how we get mental problems.  How thankful are we to our parents for giving birth to us? But there are people who complain and resent their parents their whole life.  How thankful should you be for the parents God gave you?  This church is a church God gave you; how thankful should you be for it? But if you’re always complaining about it, your life is already done.

    (5) Take hold of that for which Christ took hold of me (Phil. 3:12)

Now I’m racing to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. In the past, there was a success that Paul wanted, and that’s where the central interest of his life was always headed. Even when he was reading the Bible, he was going there, but once Christ comes into me, my heart is moved by something else. My heart keeps moving towards the work God gives me.

    (6) I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward (Phil. 3:14)

Phil 3:14, “I press on towards the goal,” there’s a goal.  “You are my servant, my instrument to proclaim the gospel to the Israelites, their kings, and to the Gentiles.”  You have to have a goal for your faith, in other words, a mission from God. You head towards this to obtain the prize for which you have been called.  This world is not the end, but through the things of the earth, there is a heavenly reward and crown in the eternal kingdom of God.

If a pastor doesn’t know this, pastoral ministry is the hardest thing because the things of this world are people. If you’re racing towards that, then you’ll die. We look at this but we shouldn’t race towards this, we race towards the rewards in heaven. I’m racing towards my heavenly rewards.  It’s the same for businesspeople, if you look at your business, you’ll die. You need to live for something other than that, and that’s why your business will follow.  If you’re looking towards that and your business doesn’t follow, then either God is dead or your business is wrong.

Why did God give you your business? God gave it to you as a tool to fulfill God’s Word.  Why did God educate Moses in leadership for a long time?  It wasn’t so that Moses could be the king and become successful; God was training him to lead the Exodus.

  2) My decision of faith

What is the decision of faith that I will make? Will I follow after people’s words, or am I going to decide on the covenant of faith based on the words of the Bible?

    (1) It is finished (Jn. 19:30)

One day, when I began to believe in these words, the problems of my family line were broken down and we will be liberated from our mental problems, but we don’t believe in that, so we continuously get caught up in them. May you have this grace.

    (2) Life within me (Gal. 2:20)

He is living within me and guiding my life forward as my Master. I have died on the cross and now Christ lives within me. My life is already finished; if my life is finished, then why am I worried about it? The Lord should worry about my life; I shouldn’t, but the Lord doesn’t worry. God gives His Word and leads us forward with His Word.

    (3) Forever with (Mt. 28:20)

“I am with you always,” everything is finished, what is there to be afraid of? The One Who has all authority in heaven and on earth is with me forever. Are you afraid of people? Why are you afraid of people? God is with me, and whenever you do what God needs, God works. What is there to be afraid of? The beginning point of mental problems is fear. Coronavirus is not a problem, but it’s the fear of coronavirus.  Cancer isn’t a problem, but it’s the fear that comes with cancer.

In Genesis 3, as soon as Adam and Eve were separated from God, they lived in fear, and Satan entered in through that fear, rage, and anger. Ephesians says that Satan will enter you through your wrath, so the scars of your past are channels through which Satan will enter.  Because there’s no God there, but it’s me in a state that doesn’t have God, of course Satan will enter. If Moses was scarred by being deserted by his parents when he was young, do you think things would’ve worked out? Once you meet Jesus Christ, everything is changed into a blessing.

If you get an Olympic gold medal, all the suffering you had to endure will be a blessing. But if you don’t get the gold medal, everything you had to endure will be bitter. You’re going to be filled with sorrow because your parents did not support you financially.  Once you meet the greatest blessing of all, Jesus Christ, then everything will turn into a blessing.  Your parents are a blessing, immigrating was a blessing,  and even if you didn’t graduate from the best school, that was a blessing, too. And your ugly wife is a blessing, too. Would it be a blessing if she were better looking?

We had a meeting in the past, and I met a woman I had never seen before. For a few days, it made me more confident. When I was dating, I would want people to see her walking with me, but after a few days passed, her face became like everybody else’s. But once you know Christ, even an ugly face will not seem ugly to you, because of Christ.  So, I say this to my parents a lot, too. “Thank you for giving birth to me.”  Then they started crying, “What have I ever done for you? Don’t say thank you, we’re sorry.”

Because I know Christ, I’m thankful for my parents, too. Once you get the Olympic gold medal, you’re thankful for everything, do you understand? Once you get that gold medal, all the times you had to starve, even your lack of education, is a blessing because if you were educated, you wouldn’t have gotten the gold medal. This is how your life changes.  Moses and Paul discovered that.

    (4) Power of the Holy Spirit (Ac. 1:8)

    (5) Disciples of all nations, healing (Mt. 28:18, Mark 16:15-20)

    (6) Prayer – Enjoy (Ac. 1:14)

    (7) Field – Answer of saving (Ac. 3)

There are a lot of churches, a lot of seminaries, and no one says anything about that. But the church that knows this value, the believer who knows this value, the world cannot handle them.  They will devour the world.  People are so shriveled up in their scars, but we are saying, “it’s okay because we have another goal. It’s okay if we’re sick because we have another goal.” So the world cannot stop us. We enjoy this through prayer and we testify of it. Then the blessings will accumulate.  Without a doubt, this is relayed around you.

If you talk badly about other people, you may think they don’t know, but they know. We’re not animals, we’re spiritual beings, and the devil will bring the bad words you say and deliver them to this person. If you don’t know the spiritual world, you’re living in the third industrial revolution, and God will remarkably reveal what you’ve said.  That’s how people who are demon-possessed will move the people who are across the world from them spiritually.

Conclusion

1. Me, physical things, success center – Reject

2. Covenant – Christ, God’s kingdom, Holy Spirit

3. Choose to enjoy and relay in faith

Today we are sitting here holding onto God’s Word and praying, but the works of God are taking place around the world. This is the blessing we’ve received.  If you remain within the line of enjoying and testifying of this covenant, you will receive the blessings like Moses and Paul. I hope you will deny yourself and decide Christ.

May you reject the success of the world and choose Christ instead. It doesn’t mean to throw away success. Instead of relying on the background of human strength, may you rely on God’s power.  May you have the blessing of making these decisions of faith.
